REVOLUTIONISEVOLUTIONLOGOThere is little doubt by now for most people privileged enough to be alive at this moment in history that something big is happening. Even to those still stuck in the mud of fluoridated water who have yet to really awaken to the much larger truths emerging all around us are at some level aware that great change is upon us all. For those of us ahead of the curve on this little notion it is commonly called Revolution. Something is revolving; something is turning back around on itself and performing a 360 of unimaginable proportions. Obviously the usage of the word Revolution tends to evoke imagery of guns, war and bloodshed which really is an unfortunate thing because quite honestly it shouldn’t. Perhaps in the past such imagery would have been synonymous with the word and rightfully so; however this time it is my belief that the word Revolution is due for a makeover. This is one of the reasons that the term Evolution is frequently coupled with Revolution by your humble author and others of his ink and ilk.

Obviously I am not referring to Darwinian Evolution so fundamentalists of any flavor can stop squirming; rather I am speaking of an Evolution in the spiritual, intellectual and emotional sense. Our species’ current state of being in the spiritual, intellectual and emotional realms is the very thing that has allowed the world to become the mess we all now sense that it is. Be it proxy wars, fiat currencies, genetically modified foods, the raping of Earth by the delusional notion that fossil fuels are actually the best we can do or any of the other issues that make the Enlightened among us scratch our heads in frustration; one thing is certain and it is that Einstein was correct when he said “You cannot solve a problem from the same consciousness that created it. You must learn to see the world anew.” Humanity has no choice but to begin thinking, feeling and acting in a different way if it wishes to keep on ascending than it ever has in the past.

As an American Patriot that reveres the Founding Fathers and the concepts written in the Constitution as well as the Republic it was written to protect and preserve, it becomes quite a task for me to iterate to other Revolutionaries the position of a non-violent stance in the face of the tyranny that has been passed along to us by previous generations considering the Revolution of our Founders was indeed washed in the blood of violence. Some in the Patriot or Liberty movement would say that I am naïve for not advocating a hot revolution and point back to 1776 as if the solution is to repeat the exact steps that began the path we currently find ourselves on. While it is true that those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it; it is equally true that those hell bent on repeating the past will indeed do that too and I for one am not entirely keen on the idea of bullets flying from all directions on the streets of the country I love. The war and violence of 1776 had its place in 1776 and served its purpose for its day and time but the fact that is staring us directly in the face is that when lead to its final and current outcome; it did not purge tyranny by government but instead suppressed and postponed it for a few generations. It is my belief that the Founders were well aware of this when they played their part in history and put their hopes in a wise and Enlightened generation yet to come to find a way, a better way, to enact change. Hopefully here we are.

A hot revolution in the age of nuclear weapons that can fit inside of briefcases, drones, GPS on everyone’s person and assault rifles behind every blade of grass is the surest and quickest way for the homo-sapiens to be added to the list of endangered or extinct species. One has to wonder about the IQ of anyone advocating such a thing and examine if indeed such an advocate is a member of our species or a leftover knuckle dragger from the Neanderthal age that just wants a chuckle as they watch us fade away into the history books as well. One of the reasons the idea of violence against the government cannot work in our time is because quite frankly no one would actually know who to shoot at. There won’t be uniforms passed out that clearly identify tyrants from patriots, there won’t be flags that say ‘Freedom’ or ‘Slavery’ and there certainly won’t be clearly identified borders for either side to retreat to. The fact is that the people who are assisting the tyranny make up just as much of the police and military as those who want Freedom and Liberty and what both sides have in common is that in their minds they both believe that the actions they take on a daily basis is a means to the end of preserving peace.

Advocates of a police and surveillance state are for the most part convinced that there is a demon under every sofa and a terrorist behind every lamp-stand therefore they justify within themselves the necessity for participating in the perpetuation of such a state. As wrong as they may be for giving into the Machiavellian mindset they were sold, no one can seriously believe that they are mustache twisting villains who actually get off on committing treason or mindless storm troopers content to punch a clock on the death star and blow up planets before lunch. Sure, there is no doubt in my mind that there are a handful of lunatics in secret cabals that do indeed get off on the suffering and misery of we mere mortals but the biggest part of their orgiastic enthusiasm is that the suffering and misery we endure is done by our own hands and requires but a little nudge from them and nothing more.

In the event of a hot revolution the tiny few so called elite would be safe and sound in bunkers somewhere sipping on chianti while the masses cut each other to pieces on the streets in the name of some glorious revolution that will do little more than cause quite the drop in population and put us right back on the hamster wheel humanity was unable to get off of in 1776. I don’t hunt but from my understanding there are hunting seasons to keep the populations of certain animals in check so once or twice a year bullets must fly and bodies must fall. Hot revolutions are the equivalent of hunting seasons ordained by the tiny few who do enjoy pushing for a servant and master class.

While it is true that the military is conducting itself in an unconstitutional manner and has done so for quite some time, and it is most certainly true that the police are behaving more and more like the gestapo at an alarming rate these problems will never be solved with pre-emptive violence. Violence in self-defense, absolutely, shooting at every man or woman with a badge? Asininity. Ultimately the poor actions of those perpetuating tyranny is a problem of the mind. It is the sickness of a poor fund of knowledge. Police state adherents are simply ignorant of the Rights we have been endowed with by our creator and the depth of that ignorance obviously stimulates violence in greater degrees. We, as Enlightened Revolutionaries have to understand that within the thinking process of tyrants is the self- justification of their actions. All villains believe they are the hero in some sick and twisted way. While our task is much more difficult than pulling a trigger, which is easy, in the greater scheme of things taking the time, patience and proper attitude to educate and Enlighten them to our way of thinking is ultimately going to reap the greater reward as well as keep mankind from extinction in some pointless getting off of guns.

Now I will be the first to admit that I certainly don’t have all the answers and cannot provide all of the solutions on how we stop tyranny dead in its tracks in a peaceful way but I will also be the first to say that at least I have some and at least I am willing to exhaust those solutions with every fiber of my being before believing that picking up a rifle is what will do the trick. When I’m done exhausting those solutions I will be more than willing to exhaust your peaceful solutions as well because as I have always said and will continue to say; when violence goes up against violence the one who wins is simply the most violent. In that instance it should be noted that the most violent is always the least right and who wants to be a part of a post revolution world that is simply so wrong?

Of course all of this brings me now to the most recent episodes of Zen in the Car T.V. which are also titled Revolution is Evolution parts one, two and three. In the past year or so I have had the privilege to take the message of peaceful Revolution to many alternative media outlets and do my part in this whole thing to inspire, encourage and hopefully help steer the course of our fate in some small way in the direction of non-violent resistance to the tyranny we have had to endure in the country. This is not always an easy task, especially when communicating with those on either side that are so filled with anger and rage the only outcome they can conceive is a violent one. These types of folks can be found on the side of the state as well as the side of the Patriot movement. For the past year we here at ZENINTHECAR.COM have documented on multiple occasions the aggressive nature of the state and some of those behind badges that have no problem violating civil rights but for the sake of fairness it should also be shown that the Liberty movement has its fair share of douchebags too.

Untitled-1Your humble author was invited on The Ochelli Effect not too long ago to discuss the concepts we are talking about here and the catalyst for the interview was in regards to an article previously published on ZENINTHECAR.COM where I saw fit to make commentary on the views of a caller who in fact does advocate a violent response to the state. The article is read during the first episode so I won’t exhaust the details here, however what ensued as a result of the interview is something I do wish to elaborate on before you view all three parts in their entirety.

Evidently the network which currently carries The Ochelli Effect has a hand full of dedicated …chat room buddies and these…chat room buddies…have had this special bond for quite some time apparently. Unbeknownst and completely irrelevant to me was the fact that the subject of my article, Mr. Cracker, is a member of this dedicated group of chat room buddies and my usage of his words and position (which were voiced by Mr. Cracker himself on a public forum and subject to commentary and criticism) to demonstrate the futility of violent revolution in my writings didn’t sit too well with them. After the chat room brigade got good and tanked by the end of my reading (hey fellas, the steps work if ya work em’ but they won’t if ya don’t) deciding to call in to rip me a new one or whatever before Mr. Cracker himself called back in only to bail after roughly eight minutes of not really saying a whole lot of anything significant or useful but proving he was very proficient in yelling “THE SECOND AMENDMENT” into his phone, the insanity only snowballed further. I’ll let you experience it for yourself in the episodes below and have your own internal dialogue on which side makes the most sense.

CENSOREDThankfully though there is always an opportunity to turn any situation into a teachable moment and this ordeal did allow the contrast between the two positions of revolution to be examined. My position of a peaceful method of change was allowed to get in the proverbial ring with the method of violence in an open forum for all of you to weigh the results in the balance of common sense. This is a win for Enlightened Revolutionaries like you and I. Unfortunately as a result of the entire interview a decision was made somewhere over at UCY.TV to have yours truly banned from their particular airwaves. It is still unclear to everyone over here at ZENINTHECAR.COM and me as to why exactly I was banned and we can only speculate as to the whom and how this decision was made seeing as how this ban was only relayed to us through third parties and not directly by those responsible. The only thing we know for certain is that I am indeed banned as a result of The Ochelli Effect interview that night.

Obviously this has come as a disappoint to us at ZENINTHECAR.COM, not because we don’t have other outlets to spread our message but because as members of the alternative media it saddens us to see others who would fly that banner betray the philosophy that goes along with it. Ultimately all of us here are individual writers, bloggers, philosophers, poets, commentators and activists of all different walks of life that have come together for some common causes through the medium of alternative media; or media that the mainstream will not allow due to censorship or the fitting of politically or financially correct muzzles on our views. We don’t always agree with one another and have the understanding that nor should we; however it is our duty as individual members of the collective alternative media to at least allow one another the opportunity to express our views no matter how unpopular, offensive or controversial those views may be. On the day that current or future contributors to ZENINTHECAR.COM lose sight of that philosophy then it is my hope that this site and all its outlets be scattered in the wind because it will no longer be able to serve the purpose in which it was conceived to perform.

It should be noted at this point that neither the host of The Ochelli Effect or Jaded; shows I have frequented on UCY.TV, are responsible for the decision to have me banned and in no way should my banishment reflect poorly upon them because it was simply out of their hands. I happen to find both of them very kind and professional and have thoroughly enjoyed being a guest on both of their shows. The unfortunate part about them being carried on the network that had me banned is that it begs the question of just how much UCY.TV has tied their hands behind their backs in regards to who can come on their shows and what can be spoken about. That is a disheartening thought in light of the desperate need the alternative media has for articulate and daring voices. It is my hope and prayer that their talent and genuine love for Freedom of expression is noticed by other networks that are more deserving of what they have to offer, and if that transpires they not hesitate to leap at the opportunity. So there is no need to protest the network, no need to blast them ad nauseam. The only thing required is to simply note that at the very least they have engaged in censorship with me and then to ask yourself how many have they censored that you don’t know about.

RevolutionariesAll of that being said the good news is that the situation has been salvaged to bring forth goodness for your viewing pleasure in the following three part series Revolution is Evolution. So sit back, enjoy a tasty beverage of your choice with snack or two in hand and join Jason Patrick, Sabrina Black and myself as we freely express our views of peaceful Revolution, non-violent disobedience and the importance of the First Amendment. It is our hope and desire that not only are you entertained but you are Enlightened as well. See you around.

If you haven’t already, now is the perfect time to subscribe to zeninthecar on so you can catch the episodes of Zen in the Car T.V. that don’t necessarily get featured over here on the website as well as catch the episodes that do early. Special thanks to Julianne Foster, Rod Jean’berry and Tim Lightman over at Digital Hourglass for your hard work and incredible talent. The check is certainly in the mail for this series guys.

zenseason4picInsomnia is very much like being asleep in many respects. Or rather I should say it’s like being stuck in a waking dream where nothing is solid and most things are completely lucid. One day bleeds into the next and that one into another one and your eyelids grow heavier and heavier yet your mind refuses to shut down. Kinda fun when you get used to it. Sleep deprivation; it can become a legal drug that no po-po can test for when you know the proper amount of dosage.
In the wee hours of the morning I was going over footage Digital Hourglass had for me to review regarding ZEN IN THE CAR T.V.’S upcoming documentary, Western Independence: The Cliven Bundy Incident, featuring a notable Jason Patrick. I stepped out for a moment to the patio to massage my eyelids and began contemplating the crew of ZENINTHECAR.COM coming back in 2015. It is no secret to any of our subscribers that 2014 proved to be quite a challenging year for your favorite activist/philosophers and the unusually long break we have had was well needed and well deserved. But now it was time for us to stretch our rested laurels and get back into the swing of things; however this time with the experience and lessons of the last few months under our belt.
What would this year be about? I pondered. What would be the goals that we collectively had aside from the fact of bringing news and enlightenment to the keen eyes of our subscribers? Last year there was no doubt that we went above and beyond in showing the corruption in the system; local government, state government and of course national government. Great, so now we are all well aware of the problems we face from interactions with local police to the dealings down at city hall or state capitols, now what?
The way I figured it, I would have to do as I did at the beginning of last year and have an audience with the Divine in order to attain some sort of guidance as to where I should plot a course for the good ship Zenterprise. Of course last year that required a fatal car accident documented in Zen In The Car Crash: Welcome to Year Three, and I wasn’t too eager to repeat such an incident. So this time I opted for a much easier transition to the afterlife through silent meditation. A few incense sticks, candles and silent mantras later and I found myself once again in the throne room of the All Mighty.
“You’re in my chair.” God said.
I opened my eyes only to see that I was in fact sitting in God’s throne.
“My bad. I was just keeping it warm for you.” I said.
“This makes, like five times already.” God replied
“Well what can I say…” I shrugged, “…it is a rather comfy chair.”
God squinted at me with the expression of naughtiness on his brow. It didn’t take him long to waltz over to the nearby coffee bar where his hands began working magic.
“Caramel Macchiato?” God offers.
“Too sweet for me, howsabout a cappuccino?” I retort.
God gives me a wink and starts to whip of the tasty beverages of our choice. As He does I wiggle about on his throne looking for the sweet spot.
“So, I hear it’s time for you and the guys to get back to work.” He says over the hisses of the ornate java machine.
“Yeah, that’s what I wanted to talk to you about.” I answered.
As the aroma of caffeine filled the throne room I watched God reach behind the counter and withdraw a bag of wasabi Funyuns.
“Are you serious?” I exclaimed, “I thought those bad boys had been discontinued?!”
God popped one in His mouth and the sound of the crunch was…most Divine.
“They are. But let’s just say I know a guy who knows a guy.” God answered.
“Well don’t be a douche about it, fork some over man. I haven’t had wasabi Funyuns in a few years.” I demanded.
“Get out of my chair.” God insisted.
I cock my head to the right with a contorted and confused look on my face. Decisions, decisions. Give up the throne for a handful of wasabi Funyuns or not? Well at the time it seemed worth it. So I popped out and made my way to the mini bar in order to receive a handful of that Asian goodness. The caffeinated goodness was served alongside of a basket of the yellow rings I so desired and after a few munchy crunches, God was back to business.
“So you guys are about to come back for 2015 I hear.” God said.
“Uh huh, and it wouldn’t be such a bad thing if you gave me some advice on exactly what we are supposed to be doing this time around.” I replied.
“Well I don’t know, I mean last year you guys seemed to be trying to set some sort of record on how many times you could get arrested over frivolous, victimless crimes, and you managed to catch the attention of every po-po officer with a badge in your town and state so I guess I would like to know how that’s working out for you?” God asked.
I lick the wasabi from my fingertips and think for a moment. I wash it down with creamy froth from my cappuccino and smirk.
“Well getting arrested is always balls, you know how it is; Pontius Pilate and all.”
“Yeah, that guy was a yes man if ever there was one.” God snickers.
“So you tell me, what are we supposed to do this year?”
God takes a moment to think then eyes me curiously.
“Well let me ask you this; what have you guys learned during your break? What have all of you been doing?”
That was a good question. It took me a moment to sort it out. When I did I honestly didn’t know how to relate it to the All Mighty.
“Well Jason Patrick has been on walk-about. He left the state to do some self-exploration, to re-examine his purpose I suppose. He spent most of last year laying himself out there as a martyr and a leader and it took a toll on him. So I suppose he has been spending his time reinventing himself and re-evaluating how this Revolution needs to be fought.” I answered.
“Uh huh, and how about Bree?” God asks.
“She’s been busy with Divine America. I also believe she has been busy trying to understand how the Light overcomes the Darkness even though the Darkness most times feels so strong and so triumphant. She knows we win in the end, I just don’t think she knows how just yet.”
“What about Jason Turner?”
“Turner? Oh that’s an easy one. Aside from throwing himself head first into the Derrick Grayson campaign anyway.” I reply.
“Ah, I hear that’s going to be interesting.” God interjects.
I grin from ear to ear.
“Oh that’s going to be quite the roller coaster ride. If there is one thing the establishment doesn’t want it’s a candidate that is willing to name names and speak it as it is. So having Grayson run again, especially with Team Zen behind him…this will get rather interesting.”
“But on a personal level?” God asks.
“On a personal level I think Turner has been learning how to be more thankful in his own life, to see that one must take care of one’s own self before taking on the well-being of others. How can we be any good to others if we are not good to ourselves?” I answer.
God takes a sip of His caramel macchiato, palms a few Funyuns, and then continues.
“I hear you have some new blood as well?”
“A little bit, yeah. We have David “Preacher” Ballangee joining us this year. He’s a vet as well as an old school friend of mine. Highly intelligent, highly opinionated. I don’t necessarily agree with all his spiritual views….”
“You don’t necessarily agree with all of mine.” God interrupts.
I shake it off.
“…however his opinion is highly valued.” I finish.
God comes out from behind the bar and takes his place on the throne. A smile comes across His face because it indeed has been kept warm. He fumbles for His PlayStation 5 controller and logs on. I can tell God is nearly done with this conversation.
“And this Monica Maze you have recruited?” He asks.
“Pure spiritualist. In touch with the feminine Divine and no stranger to police corruption. She should prove very effective in the coming year, as well as the other poets and authors I have found. I trust we all have your blessing?” I ask.
As the Sony logo appears on God’s hi-def T.V., I prepare my departure.
“It seems you already have everything you need young Crumpton. What more do you need from me?” God asks.
I have to think for a moment. I have finished my tasty beverage and ran through the gauntlet of those I have chosen to be my partners for the next year; what more is there?
“I suppose I would like to know what we are supposed to do. I assembled the team but I don’t know exactly what you expect from us.” I ask.
God smiles as He logs into His online account.
“Let me ask you this; what have you yourself learned while on break?”
I wasn’t ready for that question. So I had to go deep inside on the fly to find an answer for the All Mighty. It had been a while since I actually thought about myself or my own path and this question forced me to face that. It took me a moment before I could muster up an answer.
“I think what I have learned is that I am fine all by myself. I think I have learned that my identity is mine and mine alone. It isn’t dependent on anyone else. I am who I am and no one, or no thing can alter that without my consent. I think I have learned that above all else, to mine own self I should be true.” I answered.
God smiles. He wipes His mouth and types in His password.
“Then get back down there and show them how a peaceful Revolution is done. You have all the answers you need.” God answers.
There is always that moment in between transitioning dimensions where you have a moment or two to evaluate what transpired. I suppose with this particular transition I had the epiphany that last year we here at ZENINTHECAR.COM were highly effective in demonstrating what the problems in our current state are, and now something new must be tried. Rather than demonstrate the problems, I had the overwhelming feeling that it was now our duty to bring about solutions to the problems. The police are running rampant over our Rights; the politicians are scheming with personal interest in mind and public opinion out of mind to the detriment of our Constitutional Republic. We all know the cancer; perhaps it’s time for a shot of vitamin B-17 to cure it.
For too long our generation has been at the mercy of the state; the mercy of the old guard which have dictated to us the way things ought to be or perhaps the way they wanted things to be. Sure, no one here believes that all police are bad, or all politicians are crooked; that’s a generalization we are not ready to make. We believe there are still some good seeds out there, though isolated they have been. For the next year it is our goal to reach out to those souls within the system that still believe in the ideal of America that was handed to us by our Founding Fathers and the Constitution they entrusted us with. We know that it must be done in a peaceful and informative way and we hope that with Divine Guidance we shall be successful. This country and this world cannot afford another violent Revolution, and so much as it is within our power we all will ensure such a thing never comes. Through education, enlightenment, and common sense solutions we will turn this ship around; you can bet your wasabi Funyuns on it.
So I do as I am told and descend back into the flesh body I have known for oh so long. Here I am, back on my patio. My eyes are more relaxed and my mind even more transfixed. Another year before us, one in which we aim to offer solutions rather than the problems. Now that we have the blessings from the Divine, who knows what will become of us? To you and yours, Namaste.

Police incite violence everywhere every day. Is this fact lost on you?

Perhaps it is time to change police actions so things don’t reach such a fevered pitch? Blaming the symptoms of a problem I.E. civil unrest rather than the glaring problem of a disrespectful militarized police force leading things up to this point is naive and irresponsible, in my humble opinion. When/if things do return to normal? What changes? When the answer is “not much”?

The problem remains as do the symptoms. There is no justice.

No justice = no peace.

Are you really that surprised? Police can do anything they want to whoever they want whenever they want for whatever reason they want and get away with it. Lying and embellishing facts on police reports is common and encouraged. Are you surprised there is a riot and looting? Attitude reflects leadership. Every form of government is operating in near total anarchy and is out of control. The Constitution is dead and completely ignored.

That law (the constitution) is/has being ignored by every single person that has taken an oath to it. Some of those same people steal loot and incite and commit violence against American people all day everyday under “color of law” that is really not law at all and we all know it. Attitude reflects leadership. Leadership operates in near complete anarchy from the top down and the bottom up. When this shooting is eventually deemed “justified” (as it may well be) and the riots and looting stops?

The real under lying problem of a disrespectful militarized police force enforcing unconstitutional laws on nonviolent peaceful people will remain. I will gladly do “their job.”  I’d lose it very quickly as it is their responsibility not to enforce unconstitutional laws. I will not enforce unconstitutional laws. What you see now is a result of these “good men” doing their job while ignoring their responsibility. I work and have worked to change laws and legislatures as well as cops and departments.

No one is listening and everyone blames someone else.

Seems riots are the result and that is unfortunate. You can’t treat pneumonia with cough drops. The cough is not the problem. Responsibility must be taken, from the  Top down or bottom up. If police are the bottom? Their refusal to take part is necessary. A responsibility that seems to be ignored and somehow celebrated.

Just doing my job” where in history have we heard that?

It ends very badly, then and now.

Protectin’ and Servin’

The Semblance of Freedom that is the 28th Amendment

“My pity to he who fights every day for a liberty for all that he never truly experiences for himself.”

Freedom is Choice

In the broad scope of things, we may have lost sight of what it is we’re truly fighting for. I’ve said before to avoid listing the numerous freedoms we’ve lost, and to focus on what freedom we will or will not have in our future. The reason for this is because it all boils down to one thing. Freedom.

Like many of you, I grew up hearing and telling others that this was a “Free” country. The reality is that it’s not. There is nothing free in this country. In fact, what once was the very symbol of freedom is nothing more than scattered memories and images turned sour by the Elite. The definition of freedom becomes diluted with concepts of what freedom looks like, rather than what is really is.

There’s no real difficulty in moving the nation into true freedom, but the process demands we first acknowledge what freedom is. Not only are we tasked with redefining the term, but to embrace it and the challenges that come with fulfilling it. Now, I’m not a dictionary, and I’m not even using one, but I think when it comes to defining “freedom” we can all agree that CHOICE is an all-inclusive definition that satisfies what we’re after. Am I right?

Mob Rule

Consider everything you do in life ultimately rests on a choice. You have the choice:

– to get up and go to work, or NOT;
– to go spend money on a movie, or NOT;
– to have babies; and so on and so forth.

Basically, you have unlimited choices. They may be affected by such things as finances, scheduling, or some other personal reason; but the fact remains they are your choices to make. And it’s great when you have that freedom, right? That is, until they stop becoming your choice to make.

One of the factors that contribute immensely to the choices we make comes down who gets hurt the most by a decision. Most often, the choices that we want to make, or even that may be the best decision to make, are overridden by the amount of guilt we feel about hurting or disappointing others. In the end, your choice is to go along with whatever everyone else decided was good for them.

This is the very concept that leads to mob rulings. Take the one person out of the many who chooses NOT to do what the rest are doing. That person chooses alternatively, because that is their right.

But what happens?

Appeals start firing off: No! You chose wrong! You must it do it this way, or you’ll be LABELED.

Now you have a mob of people who are somehow injured by your choice to NOT comply, and they in turn run to their legislators and cry about how hurt they’ve been and what they want done to assure themselves they will never endure such hurt again.

Of course, the powers that be recognize this as voter turnout and thusly legislate on behalf of the mob.

It’s tactics like this that made your ownership of that AR-15 a threat. The mob doesn’t like your weapon. It’s scary and bad things happen when it goes off sometimes. So they cry for stricter gun laws, and the next thing you know, you’re a felon.

That’s mob rulers pushing freedom right off a cliff with a boulder tied to the foot. They simply want freedom dead.

The 28th Amendment

Perhaps as a result of my not focusing on listing the losses, I hadn’t realized just how under attack The Constitution is. Not just those first two amendments, but ALL of them.

Brought to light recently by Sen. Ted Cruz, the 28th amendment has been building (according to, both in momentum and lunacy, since 2009. Initially an amendment to address congressional members, the document has blossomed into a full scale attack on the Constitution of the United States. Acting as a general “cure-all” for the liberal-minded, the document reduces America to the status of a neutered dog, in order to reduce the amount of hurt felt by those who cannot accept that people are free and have choices.

Closer Examination

Among the first items addressed in this amendment are your first and second amendments. Your 1A, it’s gone; and, with what’s left of it cannot coexist in the same region as your 2nd amendment. So, if you wish to protest (which, if you can find something left to protest in the list of things you are prohibited from protesting about, I commend you), you must do so with your words, and not your protection of those words. Good luck with that.

The next article seeks to eradicate—I mean, regulate religion. From defining such words as “religious” and demanding they remove them from all things “public” including buildings, money, books, and basically your mouth; this Article of the amendment will make you shake your head. Of particular mention in this area of the amendment, I would ask you to look at Article II Section 3, which reads:

Section 3. The United States of America is not a Christian nation nor a nation promoting any religion. Instead, the United States of America is a nation of Freedom, Equality, Justice and Equal Rights for ALL people.

Color me a conspiracy theorist, but are you beginning to see what’s going on here? Words are important, as they are received by the human mind and processed in particular ways. This section very clearly denounces the Christian heritage of America. Over any other religion chosen to specifically call out, the writers chose Christianity. Over time, mob rules such as these turn into “you are prohibited from practicing Christianity.” Ask a witch how she knows, cause just as the Pagans and the Natives were thwarted for their beliefs, so shall be the believers of Christianity if legislation like this is adopted.

Some other interesting details throughout this document include placing requirements for education and testing on Government Officials that even our founding fathers would fail. It ought to frighten you that these requirements include holding a bachelor’s degree, and passing several mental and physical evaluations. Essentially, the liberal unicorn chasers want to believe that their educational system is so valuable that no one holding office could possibly be good for us if they don’t have a piece of paper to prove they received it.  I’m not going to point out that many of history’s greatest achievements (including the founding of our country) stem from people who were mentally ill, and/or on drugs.  Considering the way of America is leaning on the passing of laws to make doing drugs LEGAL, I would wonder what pool of people that will leave us with to CHOOSE to lead us.

I can guarantee you one thing; by the standards listed in this document, whoever is left to lead this country will certainly have no religious background. Because there’s a requirement for that. Religious leaders are BARRED from running for public office or positions within public education for a period of time AFTER they have chosen to LEAVE their position of faith. Once again, asking people to denounce their faith in order to participate. And if you can’t comply with this, you will be subject to impeachment proceedings, or if you are running, your campaign will be ignored and prohibited from participating in political debates and functions. Let’s put it like this: NO FAITH FOR YOU! If your faith is speaking out loud, it’s too loud for public.

Are you getting a little mad yet? They have articles that cover education. If you didn’t think education was at a loss yet, just wait. This document outlines the provisions of government funding only to public schools. No charter schools can receive government funding. Or put simply: no funding to any source of education that could potentially educate on a religious topic. Not every charter school is a religion-based school, but thanks for limiting our choices to receive ONLY a public education unless we can afford something different. That ought to keep the religious population in check.

If that doesn’t work, certainly our liberal modification of the “acceptable” text books will help you to comply. Adding to the absurdity of this amendment, Article VIII Section 2 identifies that all educational material will be stripped of religious reference; in particular science education will convey only the idea of evolution and extrude the FACTS that other IDEAS exist. Because the only thing better than a child that learns is one that learns only what you want them to without asking questions. And for the checkers of the “other” box in the questionnaire regarding religion—who wants to answer those kind of questions, right?

The reality is, if you were truly interested in education and evolution, you wouldn’t be so scared of evolving. Education is acknowledgement of all the contributions that lead us to think, believe, and act in a certain way regardless of where they come from – science, religion, or spirituality. To negate that these ideas have had any effect on the way the world works is to outlaw freedom in the form of prohibiting education, and aids in DE-EVOLVING our species. Knowledge is power, and should be embraced along with all the questions it comes with. The lack of education prohibits freedom in that it demands your CHOICE to be an uneducated one.

As usual this document also attacks prayer at school. The injured folks can’t bear to see your child sit in prayer, so they need to keep that at home. They want to take ‘the Federal Holiday known as Christmas’ and change the name to ‘Winter Holidays,’ because it does a better job of acknowledging that variety of celebrations we have. God-forbid someone wish you a merry fucking Christmas. Sorry, I’m getting mad now. Not because once upon a time the holiday was Pagan, anyway, but because once again (if it’s still not clear) the country is going toe to toe over something petty and ridiculous that will result in the harm of others. Why don’t we just suggest changing the name of the country while we’re at it?

Oh look, a section on reproduction. Which, I’m honestly going to let you embrace on your own, because I have had enough.

The Ramifications of Choices

Does any of this sound good to you? Laced with a puppies-and-kittens version of a potentially “peaceful” future, because we’ve wiped out the infringement religion places on us while also creating a shun for any who have a religious preference; this document outlines the semblance of freedom while actually destroying the very meaning of the word. If my CHOICE is to accept the terms of this document or NOT, then I CHOOSE NOT. I will not comply with these ideas, because they are a violation of my freedom to choose.

And when more of me CHOOSE not to comply, many will be injured by our choice. They will likely push harder. They will do so without realizing the damaging effects of their choice. And what are the damages?

Consider this… once you’ve complied, and denounced your faith in a higher power, and bought into the drugs that are now legal, and educated yourself and your children in the manner which has been outlined for you; what are you, but a member of an Orwellian society—conformed and obedient? That’s exactly what we’re headed for when we even consider documents such as the proposed 28th amendment.

It is preventable, though. When we embrace the freedom that is choice, we can choose not to comply. We can choose to practice our freedom as openly as we can regardless of who gets hurt over it, because that is our RIGHT as Americans, and as HUMAN BEINGS.

Of course, embracing your choice will come with challenges. You’ll have to choose to defend your choice against the tyrants and the mobs, or not. Whatever you choose to do, choose it and embrace it with all the challenges it comes with, or live a prisoner. I choose not to comply with the ideas presented in this document. I choose my freedom. What will you choose?

Senator Ted Cruz Exposes Democratic Plan to Repeal First Amendment –

The 28th Amendment (Full)

N.D.A.A. headed to the Senate. Who voted for it?

ATLANTA, GA. – Government Bill H.R. 4435 (N.D.A.A) for Fiscal Year 2015 has overwhelmingly passed the House (325 – 98) and is headed for the Senate. In a weird turn of events, every member of Congress for the State of Georgia, with the exception of Congressman John Lewis (D), voted in favor of this bill.

H.R. 4435 is riddled big government spending to the tune of $602 billion and a continuation of the war effort in Afghanistan until FY2018.

In what seemed like a “no-brainer” (based on what we know from congressional members seeking higher office, each of them vehemently opposing this legislation), every congressman in the State of Georgia voted for this bill – with the exception of Congressman John Lewis.

In an interview with Congressman Paul Broun before the Savannah debate, he stated that the indefinite detention provisions were not in the 2014 N.D.A.A. and he was correct.

So, why am I attacking Broun? It’s simple: He made himself out to be a staunch opponent of just about anything N.D.A.A. I am here to prove that his assertions of opposition and my assertion of opposition are two very different things.

The previsions are in the Authorization for use of Military Force (AUMF), which was created under George W. Bush. However, in 2012, Broun voted for H.R. 4310 N.D.A.A. 2012, which contained sections 1021 and 1022 in which Congress vested the power in themselves to authorize the indefinite detention of an American Citizen without due process of the law. Now that the bill has been changed, congress relinquished this power back to the president – and the N.D.A.A. only “upholds current law”, that being the AUMF.

So, the next time you hear anyone say that the N.D.A.A. doesn’t allow for the indefinite detention of American Citizens, you can call them out on their nonsense. You are now armed with the verifiable truth that the provisions remain, only in the hands of the President and the FISA courts.

In Section 1075, the FAA Modernization and Reform Act is again brought up, with continued authorization to allow the testing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) or as we like to call them, drones. Thanks to the 2012 N.D.A.A., congress mandated that 35,000 drones be integrated into our national airspace, by 2015.

In the North Georgia Mountains, Gilmer County residents fought back against the Federal Government and the private sector from taking control of the counties airport, preventing it from being used as a drone testing facility. Thanks to the late, Commissioner Randy Bell, the opposition to this program was successful in denying the State of Georgia, Georgia Tech Research Institute and Federal Government from obtaining the authorization by the Board of Commissioners to use their facility for such programs. However, the bill remains and they have moved on to other areas of the nation where they don’t need permission to use the lands in which they conduct the data-link testing.

One very important issue pertaining to this bill is found in Section 1216:

United States plan for sustaining the Afghanistan National Security Forces through the end of fiscal year 2018

Yes, you read that right. We are continuing the war effort in Afghanistan until FY2018. Contingency operations will continue for a very long time. American lives will continue to be lost and innocent men, women and children will continue to die via drone warfare.

We at zeninthecar will update you on the status of the bill as it moves through the Senate.

H.R. 4435 (NDAA 2015) House Rules Committee Hearing

WASHINGTON– On Monday, May 19th, a hearing in the House Rules Committee was held pertaining to H.R. 4435, (National Defense Authorization Act, 2015) as Chairman Pete Sessions began with the introduction and opening remarks. Congressman McKeon, a retiring Republican Representative of California’s 25th District, was allowed to take to the mic and lay out an overview of what would be later seen as a bill of damning numbers and even more setbacks. In his opening statement, Mr. McKeon made mention of the cost of H.R. 4435, to the tune of $521 Billion allocated for National Defense and $79 Billion for overseas contingency, consistent with the 2013 bipartisan budget agreement. Mr. McKeon noted that there were 195 amendments offered (100 by the Republican’s and 95 by Democrats) of which 154 were adopted. The N.D.A.A. was passed out of committee with a unanimous 61-0 vote. McKeon noted that the bill would increase troop pay as well as the continued war effort in Afghanistan. In an attempt to broaden the bill, it was met with a setback. The Budget Control Act and the lack of resources stand in the way of the expansions that are included into this bill. According to McKeon,

“My principle that I have tried to stick to this year, in pushing forward, is, to Save as much as we could. We were given a budget by the Secretary and the Chairman of the Joint Chief’s that cut more than we cut. What I’m hoping for next year (hopefully) we’ll do something about sequestration -Get something we can work with- better. Otherwise, next year is going to be very, VERY difficult.”

Congressman and Ranking Member Adam Smith, echoed Mr. McKeon on many of the major key points throughout his opening statements,

“…Continues to fund our troops who are still at war in Afghanistan. What I really like about this bill is that it recognizes that our challenges, right now, are primarily from terrorism and asymmetric warfare, therefore, prioritizes the Special Operations Command and also Cyber Security Threat. ”

Although the two members echoed one another on many of the details surrounding the defense budgetary burden laid out before them, it seemed as though they were both willing to pull from one, account to save the other. Smith noted that the administration put forward a series of changes, which includes the BRAC Amendment, which would continue to close bases within the United States when the legislation hits the chamber floor. They have also made reduction in certain compensation, as well as lay up 11 ships and discontinue the A-10 Warthog as well as rearrange the National Guard and Reserve issues.

“…for the most part, they got rid of those changes and found the money, creatively, for 2015. The problem is, it creates a bow wave. 2016/2017, we’re not going to be able to do that.

By “creatively” one only has to listen a few more seconds on the hearing to understand exactly what is about to happen. As Smith put it,

“The problem with that is, it creates a bow wave”

Yet again, we are patching a hole in the side of the ship, with cotton balls. If it is unsustainable and you can identify this, well before the implementation, why are we even considering the option? Smith also suggested if we don’t like the cuts made by the administration, we’re going to have to put up alternatives and its worth noting that the administration asked for an additional $28 Billion that they didn’t get. Offering up two amendments, BRAC and an amendment to lay up 11 cruisers and 3 amphibious ships, Smith suggested,

“If we want eleven carriers, we’ve gotta save money somewhere.”

All of this on the heels of the President making an impromptu visit to Afghanistan on Sunday evening. He stopped by Bagram Air Field with a “mission” to thank the members of the Armed Services deployed in support of the operations of the ongoing war effort in Afghanistan. As the debate heats up over the budget and over the implementation of one of the most despicable legislation’s in modern history, just short  of The Enabling Act, passed by Hitler in 1933 followed by the Reichstag Fire Decree, so goes the N.D.A.A.  These bills were passed in Germany with little to no resistance and virtually no public outcry. History has a weird way of repeating itself. Zen will stay on top of this story as it develops and you will be the first to receive notification of any and all changes that take place. Until then, keep your head up and your heart open. We haven’t lost this battle just yet.

Like Father, Like Son

Greetings all you Zenners. Today is 3/5/14. For those of you into numerology, have a big ball of fun with that, for those of you more familiar with we here at ZENINTHECAR.COM it should come as no surprise that this is indeed a very special day. As you all know Patriotism, Freedom and Liberty are Holy precepts for us having come from bloodlines that have spilt so much of that sacred serum for the aforementioned causes in various ways. It is also no secret that one of the greatest inspirations for what we do here is our very own Daniel Louis Crumpton’s father, Myron “Sarge” Crumpton. A father, Grandfather, friend, Patriot, soldier and one of the loudest supporters for his precious first amendment you could ever imagine; ascended to the starry heights a few years ago. He left behind him a legacy we all try to live up to in restoring this country to the Republic he fought so hard to maintain.

Today is the celebration of his birthday, and for this cause we forced D.L.C to pull his eyes away from the multiple monitors and rip his fingers from the keyboard in order to go and observe such a day in reverence and Zen. “Go do your crazy spiritual stuff at his grave, man, we have this one” said we as he thought twice about walking out the door. We didn’t think too much damage could be done seeing as how all we had to do is deliver to you the introduction to the second episode of ZEN IN THE CAR T.V. As a birthday wish we did however inquire of him how we would like us to mold this introduction and his request was simple enough. “Honor his memory with the capstone of brotherhood.”

Myron and Gene Crumpton
(no photo of Jimmy available)

Given the context of the episode we understood fully and now intend to make you fully aware. Sarge Crumpton entered two foreign wars with two of his brothers; Jimmy and Gene. Sarge was the fighter, Jimmy provided the sustenance for fellow troops and Gene was the martyr. It truly was a band of brothers bound in blood but more important than that, they were a band of brothers bound in ideology. The concepts of our Founders and the Constitution they gave us flowed through them more so than the genetics which bound them in birth. Each had a role in the history of our country and played that role to the best of their ability. Now that all three of them are playing a game of cribbage or poker in the great pool hall in the sky; it seems our generation must carry on that mantle.

Now unless you have been living under a rock for the past few years it should come as no surprise to you that there is a Revolution taking place in this country. However unlike previous Revolutions, this one is going to be won peacefully and without a shot having to be fired. It will be won with ideals and an overwhelming feeling of brotherhood in the spirit of Freedom and Liberty. Those on the same vibrational frequency are seemingly finding one another to assemble themselves as cogs in a machine in order to carry out this function. As you all know, team Zen has been quite busy the past year running all over the state and assembling this required band of brothers in philosophy and ideology. What we have found is that the lone voice crying in the wilderness that we know as Ron Paul has most certainly multiplied. The one has become the many and we assure you those voices are getting louder.

chrisandhiramEach of us are understanding that we all have talents and gifts and those talents and gifts must carry us to the area we are needed in order for all to work as ONE. Some of us are made for politics, others for activism, and yet others to tell the story. Each member of this machine is important and needed. This isn’t about finding a leader; it’s about finding the leader within ourselves and performing that function to the best of our ability in the area we are called to.

That being said, recently Team Zen was fortunate enough to form a brotherhood with two titans among men, Christopher Hill and Hiram Lincoln Madge from the Constitutional Security Force. We here at ZENINTHECAR.COM have dubbed them Boanerges; the Sons of Thunder. Veterans of our armed forces as well as Patriots; these two men are both serving their roles to help us preserve the Republic in their individual calling. Hiram can always be seen flanking the crew of ZEN IN THE CAR T.V. at various functions utilizing his second amendment to preserve our first, and as of late Christopher can be seen running for office. The tenth congressional district of Georgia has been blessed by the deities to receive a candidate for the House of Representatives that best not be ignored.

The problem in our country is career politicians. Men and women that are only seeking power and prestige over Freedom and Liberty. The solution to this problem is We the People standing up to become statesmen; to serve in public office in order to steer legislation back to the Ten Amendments. Christopher Hill is truly the statesman Georgia is looking for. He’s not polished, he’s not talking with a silver tongue, but his heart is beating with your best interest in mind. And rest assured every step he takes forward is only going to make him more of the Warrior for Freedom and Liberty this state needs. So without further ado we submit to you the words of these two great Patriots on the steps of the capitol at a recent event with Team Zen in Atlanta. We hope you are inspired, that you learn something and of course we hope you will support Chris Hill in his run for office and throw all of your support behind him. Enjoy ZEN IN THE CAR T.V..

Jason McBride and Cognitive Dissonance

Crew of the Zenterprise

Crew of the Zenterprise

Recently the crew of ZEN IN THE CAR T.V. had the chance to meet with the Constitutional Security Force, a Georgia militia group, and cover some of the activity and ideology of what makes up the minds of a militia man. We didn’t do as the Department of Homeland Security would suggest, and find a bunch of domestic terrorists, rather we found Patriots like you and I. We found warrior poets and philosophers much like ourselves. We found men that not only guard the ideology of the mind, but do so with really big and loud guns. We felt right at home. Many discussions were had and much film was captured, however we here at ZENINTHECAR.COM felt that Jason Doberman’s dialogue on cognitive dissonance was quite significant.
In a sane world everyone in this country would understand that things aren’t right. In a sane world everyone in this country would be on the doorsteps of the White House beating down a redress of grievance. However, that isn’t the case is it? Most are content to twitter, like, message, and call others in a pool of insignificance while the rest of us rise to the call of defending a Republic. In a sane world all of us together would join hands and sing against the nonsense coming from the halls of government…but we don’t live in a sane world do we?

No, we live in a world of left brain versus right brain. A world where logic and art don’t always get along. A world in which words and vows are tossed around, but at the end of the day, are always bound to be broken. So without further monologue we present to you the wisdom of a patriot very much a kin to our own heart. Enjoy, Zen in the Car T.V.

Jason McBride On Cognitive Dissonance:

The 4th of July: Super Heroes, Messiahs and 1776

20130527_192956Here we are at another 4th of July. Independence Day, or so they say, but from my estimation the past few generations have not entirely delivered to us; the youth of the New Atlantis what exactly this meant, means, or will mean for future generations. Sure for most of our lives we have watched in suburbs and rural parts of America as the grownups would pop open the kegs and do their very best not to blow fingers off and eyes out with bottle rockets, and we felt somewhere in this that it was supposed to be important but for the life of us we couldn’t at the time figure it out. Now though, as the age of world-wide paranoia from the money masters, politicians, and fear mongering clerics of organized religion clash with the internet age of a generation raised on interfacing with electronics and social media, we finally find out what happens when an unstoppable force meets and immovable object. I like to call it Justice. Or Karma if you like because what is Justice but the wonderful word for reaping what you sow…Karma. Kind of rolls of the tongue doesn’t it? Well maybe not for the long standing governments of state and church throughout the world.

The 4th of July isn’t just an American holiday. It’s a global holiday. It’s when a generation of people fed up with the crown and the cross of religious intolerance and fear finally cried up to heaven and asked for the Divine Providence of what all Faiths have a different name for and begged for guidance. There is One Divinity with many names and that Divinity will always answer the prayers of one who reads the Bible just as much as one who reads the Koran or even Mother Nature herself. In the times when human suffering and oppression reach an apex a messenger or group of messengers are always anointed to guide the people to Freedom and Liberty by means of what our Founders simply called “Divine Providence”. It was the revealing of an ultimate plan to the few that the way things are, are certainly not the way they are supposed to be. When Righteous men and women hear this call (Righteous meaning Right Hearted rather than self-righteous) the plan always comes to fruition.

In the last cycle of oppression from those wearing crowns and robes drenched in blood with the coffers of tax and piracy overflowing; names we throw around like George Washington, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin and of course Thomas Jefferson all decided that talk was becoming very cheap. They did not descend from a people with enough courage to board rickety boats and cross an ocean to find a new home for no other reason than having the vampires from the last continent reach over and inject such a land with the same caste systems of lords and dukes hand in hand with witch burnings and crusades. They did not have the blood of spiritual and honorable people running in their veins only to see that they had been stalked over the Atlantic by the power hungry sycophants that divided the old world. They were students of history. They knew the spiritual schools of the past few centuries going all the way back to Pythagoras, Plato, and Socrates. They knew that the wisest in human civilization…nay…the architects of human civilization made it very clear that for a Republic to exist no one man can be the voice of God on Earth, and no one man can be the King of God on Earth over the souls of men. So they did as all great messengers of God and flipped the powers that be off with the most defiant move they could think of with the technology they had at the time. They came together knowing full well it could mean their lives, their wives, their children, treasure and their estate to say “NO! WE WILL NOT COMPLY!” and not only did they say it; they did it. And just to show how much piss they had mixed with their vinegar they had a document crafted that we call “The Declaration of Independence”. Not only were these men and women of the early America willing to back hand the British crown and its puppet master the papacy across its right cheek of audacity; they were willing to put it in writing. And so we received a document that I deem to be just as Holy inspired as the Ten Commandments or the Noble Truths of Buddha; “The Declaration of Independence” soon followed by our precious Constitution of Ten simple Amendments.

A Revolution later and an apparent calm after the storm, things were good for a while. This country did reflect that dream sought after by poets and philosophers of the last renaissance; a world where all men are truly indeed created equal. Free to worship how they see fit, free to make their living by the craft of their hand, free from government intrusion into privacy or seizure of property. They were free from racism of those fearful of the genetically or racially unique and they were free to arm themselves against a future rising tyranny. As always; for a time it was good. Then as always; a generation or two drops the ball having rested on the laurels of the past generation and the predictable happens. The fear mongers of organized religion couple up with the crowned Caesar that was arrogant enough to cross the Rubicon of the Old Republic and declare himself the dictator and re-inject racism, classism, and religious bigotry. It always ends the same way. One people that call God by one name and all look kind of the same start fearing another people that call God by something else and all look kind of the same. One side is played off of the other because of differences the two sides don’t want to take the time to understand and at some critical juncture the crown wearing puppets of organized religion throw money in there. Once the money is in the mix you have genocide. As it has already been written in a more nefarious manner by Hermann Goering with a slightly different context; “It works like this in every country.” After September the 11th this formula was given two shots of new fear setting us all on edge again; Christian versus Muslim, Muslim versus Jew. And more than a decade later we now see the fruits of the labor of fear and intolerance. Scores of troops returning home with PTSD or in body bags to broken homes, acres and acres of dead civilian children, entire cities of bombed out rubble, predator drones flying over anyone and everyone’s head, and D.H.S officers assigned to nearly everyone’s email, twitter and social media feeds. By not realizing that there is nothing to fear but fear itself, as FDR put it, we have become a nation afraid of its own shadow.

So yes, America does have blood on its hands. We had the Salem witch trials. We had the near extermination of the Native Americans. We built most of our nation off the backs of African Americans and we industrialized the North off the sweat of many an Irish American. Unlike most “conservatives”, I don’t begrudge the idiom of placing an ethnicity in front of the word “American”. It’s important to know where you came from, where you are, and where you are going. At some point we allowed the cross and crown of the dark ages to subtly slither its way into the infrastructure of our Republic. But as the Founders instructed us; it’s a Republic if we can keep it. And after all it is We the People, is it not? As all previous generations of whatever Americans came to this land there was some point where they had to pass under the words shrouding the Statue of Liberty:

photo from

Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
“Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!” cries she
With silent lips. “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

And now we pass under those words. Catching a glimpse; only if in our minds of immigrants floating past the Goddess Statue of Liberty in New York City. And we have to come knee to knee with ourselves and ask if those words mean anything to us anymore? Do we as a people truly want to welcome all the oppressed of the world? Or are we content with lip service? And if we still boil with the blood of these words are we willing to act with such blood in our veins? Are we willing to open our eyes and see that Gandhi was right? There is no difference between Christian and Jew. That John Lennon told the truth when he said Hindus and Catholics worship the same God? That if only Americans would read the Koran they would see that the book of the Muslims says the same thing and it’s simply: Love God (by whatever you want to call it) with all your heart, and love your neighbor (that’s everyone you meet) as you love yourself. Being a student of interfaith relations myself, I can tell you that the core of all Faiths is that the only balance with God, by whatever name you choose, is the direct way that you treat other people. This may be expressed in different beautiful words, but rest assured it is always expressed in the wisest of scriptural texts. Yet we should also remember that in times of tyranny resistance is not only expected; it is required. All bringers of new age orders have to face tribulation against the powers that be of the old order. And some are frightened of the tag to our America of “Behold the New Order of the Ages” rather than the stupefied “New World Order.” It is time for a New Order of the Ages. It is time for a reversal of centuries of bloodshed, rape, murder, thievery and deceit. If the order of the ages has been human history there are some chapters I would clearly have to re-write for the sake of Justice.

All faiths share this common theme of a savior or a messiah coming to snatch us all away from our ignorance. Snatch us away from the sudden doom of our own destruction by petty bickering and spineless consent. If only we would actually let our license expire if we didn’t need it to do this and this? If only we stopped paying income taxes we know are illegal if only we didn’t have to do this and this? If only we would smash the smart meters off of our homes if we didn’t need it for this and this? Well I wouldn’t get my kid vaccinated if I didn’t need to get him into this school. Well I would only have a common law marriage if it wasn’t for this perk or this benefit. Well I would have a natural birth but I just don’t want to go through the pain. Yeah I would home school if it wasn’t for this or for that. Yeah I would stay at home more with the kids if we didn’t need this imaginary number in a bank mainframe somewhere in England. We complain; but we comply. And compliance is always a result of fear. Some people don’t comply. Some people like being the nail that sticks up because quite frankly they can take the beating of the hammer. So with that in mind, and all the recent chaos in my life as well as I am sure in yours as well, I had to go out on a date with my mom and finally catch “Man of Steel” to just unwind and get my mind off of the fact that those of us pulling away from the old system are shedding more blood and losing more pounds of flesh than others that will be waving an American flag on this day. And of course this pulling away is being done shackle by shackle, inch by inch. We are having to systematically rip each license, statute and act off of us chain by chain and its being done through the very Ten Amendments we should all be thinking on today.

I know up until now I’ve been extremely moving and poetic but now I’m switching gears to comic book nerd. It’s the 3rd of July as I write this and it’s been about two years and some change since I lost my own Father. Being a deeply spiritual and faithful person, this was a monument in my life because it made me ask questions I had never had to explore before. These questions took me to a place of seeking and spiritual understanding or a yearning for peace. When one is deeply spiritual and connected to the empathy of others this can most times cause deep connections that surpass what we know as the material world into the subatomic world of the spiritual. This is not superstition; it is not religion; it is simply physics. I loved my Father. I heard his last words as his breath entered my lungs and have since that moment tried to understand how it happened? Is it possible that our minds have been so fried my the GMO foods, the smart meters outside and the chemicals in the drinking water that we have been convinced that an all loving God would allow us to fry in hell if we don’t live up to some religious cleric’s standards of morality and dogma? When another way can be found? As Yeshua said; “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me”. Yet He was lifted up and we still think he didn’t do as he promised and draw all men unto him. And if all men are ultimately drawn unto him, then are we not already saved from birth? If that’s so, then what sins can we commit that have not been forgiven from the foundation of the Earth? Does not that make sin an illusion? Merely a disconnect from the Divine? If that’s so then what disconnects me from the ones I have loved that passed over? These are logical questions. They are questions that allow us to transcend the “official story” of preachers, imams, priests and popes that have all married the government through 501-C incorporations. They are not insane or out of the ordinary at all. Questioning all authority is merely a way to free your own mind and your own soul. So with all this in mind my Mom (who lovingly pinned towels on my back from the clothesline when I was a boy too) and I decided to sneak off and catch a matinee.

Not wanting to give away any spoilers, but I certainly enjoyed the movie being able to relate to it in such a deep way. Having lost my Father, then seeking a Higher Source in order to make peace with what truly resonated within me; I really clutched on to the iconography. And of course at the climactic moment when “Superman” finally becomes aggressive after seeing his mom threatened by the villainous, eugenic, crazies born in a test tube back on Krypton; I clutched my mother’s hand as I watched the son of Krypton beat the living snot out of the prick that dared to touch his mother. When my mom complained about stale pop-corn I emptied the tub to get some freshly popped kernels and when she couldn’t hear the cleverly written super hero lines I turned up her headset for the hearing impaired. When she got cold I lifted the arm chair and rubbed her arms, and by the end of the movie both of us had a smile on our face and we were content. It was very much like a letter from home. The two of us were connected to a man bore up on just as much Honor and Dignity as George Washington himself, with warts and all, and suddenly he had vanished. He left his wife and son down here on Earth to push ahead without him. Having discovered shortly before his passing that though his service in foreign wars had been performed with the best of intentions; his government and church had lied to him about the motives of his patriotism and therefore made him a party to crimes against the “Declaration of Independence” and the Constitution. He, and his generation had been lied to about why they were given guns and bombs with moving targets on the other end and this deeply troubled him. After he had watched “Terrorstorm”, an Alex Jones documentary about false flag acts of terrorism to provoke war, there was a tugging in his heart. When he had heard that his own president was ordering the sinking of the U.S.S Liberty, an American Navy Vessel, he felt an obligation to his country to make amends for his service performed in ignorance.

At that moment my Father, well into his 70s became an activist. He used the resources he had to pass out fliers, attend local political meetings, wear Ron Paul T-Shirts and buttons, and inform fellow veteran’s that Vietnam was fought over just as big of a lie as the current war on terror. He had seen that by complying with the system that is currently helmed by Barack Obama, for years had allowed this tarantula to choke my generation and possibly the one following it. And he would have no more of it. It is wonderful to see the youth of this country wake up but let me tell you when you see an elderly man whose body was failing him wobble to his truck with an “End the Fed” T-Shirt on, a Ron Paul bumper sticker on the back, and a pocket full of fliers a different type of inspiration fills you up. My father was like all older people; stubborn and set in his ways and having always been proud to be his son I was certainly awestruck to see him become stubborn and set in his ways about the noble cause of Freedom and Liberty.

superman-and-american-flag-animated-wallpaperOf course “Man of Steel” not only resonated with me on a personal level, but on a patriotic and spiritual level as well. One couldn’t help but notice the references to a messiah that embodied not only the goodness and kind heartedness of all Messiah figures, but the American ideal that that embodiment could be manifest in each and every one of us as a people. That each and every one of us could be a nation of super heroes, so to speak, if only we would treat others around us with respect and honesty and that means even if they practice a faith we are unfamiliar with or happen to come from a different ethnicity than ourselves. And of course, and not to spoil anything, if we would do as “Superman” does in the movie and slam all the surveillance satellites of the a spying government down to the Earth with an attitude that wags its finger of steel in the face of DHS and the NSA and says “That’s not very American”. So I hope all of you enjoy your 4th of July. I hope it finds you with all the ones you love and American flags all around. I hope some of you go and see “Man of Steel” with little one’s in tow so that the message of the film is instilled in their young and impressionable minds and our Republic remains secured for future generations with the Patriotic messages that shine from the screen into their eyes. I hope you take the time to explain to them afterwards what the protagonist of the movie means by being American, and educate them about the “Declaration of Independence” and the Constitution on this day. And then tomorrow I hope you give them an example, as Clark Kent’s parents did for him, and as my parents did for me, that you will no longer comply with a system built on sucking the Freedom from the little ones that will look up at you.
Have a safe and Happy 4th of July. God bless, blessed be, Namaste, and Shalom to you all.

While in the back of the sheriff’s cruiser that you and I paid for I couldn’t help but find the irony that Deputy Dawg James was responding to Facebook messages with his smart phone as he stormed down 96 with a laptop open and on to his immediate right. I snickered to myself wondering what numbers and dashes in the OCGA he would write little, yellow slips of bill of attainder’s to you and I had we been pulled over doing the same. Pots and kettles calling each black have nothing on this scenario. From that point I was hoisted, bare foot and all, out of the car and into some sort of” Shield” like docking bay which more resembled a super max prison for the criminally insane comic book villain we all love to hate more than it did a local jail for upstanding citizens such as myself. I was escorted in and taken to the front desk of the shiny new tax payer hotel I would spending the weekend and introduced to one of the only females on duty. I use the word female lightly here because judging by the juice seeping from her eyes she was probably more masculine than me. Very loud, very authoritarian, very proud of her utility belt of abuse.
This is where it got not so funny for me and rather emotional. I wear my father’s wedding band on my right hand for a few sentimental reasons that are rooted deeply in my spirituality and since I placed it on that finger it has had a very stubborn attitude of not wanting to come off despite all my best efforts. Seeing as how it enjoys being on that hand and that finger I was just content to let it have its way. However when you are taken into custody (and yes, even before due process of law has been administered) they do not allow jewelry. So the butch officer proceeds to whip out some lubricant to remove the ring to which I greatly protested.
This ring can’t be removed, it’s a part of my free exercise of worship and I haven’t been convicted of a crime. If you take it off of me you, Houston County, and the state of Georgia will be violating my Constitutional Rights.” I informed the bullfrog of a woman.

With the power drunk eye of a person missing a few chromosomes of common sense and compassion she sneers and tells me that if I don’t let her take it off she will have it cut off of my finger. At this point I am man handled by a couple of officers as Deputy Dawg James stands before me doing his best to attempt giving me a dose of police academy fear. They snatch my hand and oil it up to remove the ring at which point I understandably became extremely loud.
I said this ring is a part of my faith and can’t be removed! If I were a Muslim or a Jew my Rights would be respected!” I shout.
Of course your local Houston County Detention center and all their employees could care less about silly things such as freedom of worship so they proceed to grease my hand up. I make sure to lock eyes with the officer that arrested me and scribbled false charges on me and scream as loud as I can “This is the same as RAPE!”
Now I don’t know if the gravity of such a violation penetrated into him in any way but I hope that in penetrates within each and every one of you. Just because a person does not practice the same faith as you, or you do not understand it, does not mean it is invalid or that somehow because you know nothing about it that faith and practice shouldn’t be respected and allotted the same Rights under the Constitution. I had expressed to these so called “Peace Officers” that the ring was a critical aspect of my faith and these men and quasi woman that took an oath to defend the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic, the very oath that allows them to receive paychecks off of our hard work, were making a conscious decision to violate their oath for the sake of keeping their jobs. Not one of them spoke up to say I was right. Not one of them placed the bull frog woman under arrest for her attempts at theft by taking. Not one of them honored the oath they swore to protect. Welcome to Houston County Georgia, your taxpayer dollars are hard at work.

When it became obvious that I was serious I was quickly put in an arm lock and thrown into a four by six cinder block room and locked up like a rapist or a wife beater. After being asked a series of questions through the door I simply held up five fingers and mouthed the words “Fifth Amendment”. All of the officers on duty began to laugh at me and mock me for even considering that such things still exist and as they stood at the control desk my heart sank to see them all making light of me for even knowing how to do that sort of thing. At this point your friendly neighborhood author sat on the concrete bench provided and curled up his knees to his chest. I stared at the ring on my finger, knowing its importance to me and my faith, and was astonished to see my own tears fall on the diamond in the middle. I was heartbroken. I really was. I didn’t moan, and I didn’t wail. I just let the tears fall on my ring in the unending sadness of what I had just been victim to. We pay police officers and the like to defend our Ten simple amendments and we even pay for all their gadgets and gas but when push comes to shove they throw those words of the Founding Fathers down the nearest steel toilet for the sake of maintaining a paycheck. I thought about my Dad, and I thought about my veteran friends like Curtis Sirmans that took their vow seriously and were even willing to lay their life on the line for the Constitution and here I was in the Houston County Detention Center having those Rights stripped from me left and right with ridicule and mockery. And all because I made a decision to trust that local law enforcement would do the right thing when I first called them that evening. It’s one thing to know your public servants wish to be masters; it’s another thing to experience the overwhelming ignorance of the abuse of power we have entrusted them with firsthand.
I sat in the cell for about five hours and just stared at the bull frog lady as I drew runes and crazy symbols on the glass she wouldn’t understand. I watched as she tried to mimic the posture of the men to be accepted and listened to her sycophantic masculine talk in her attempt to try and fit in. Her awkward “tough guy\girl” talk was only received with the rolling of eyes and the polite dismissals from the men who clearly couldn’t stand the sound of her voice or the smell of her aftershave. This lifted my spirits a little to know she was just as despised by her coworkers as she was to myself and probably all the inmates that have had the displeasure of being man handled or what have you by her excess poundage of triple whoppers and grease fries. Not that I’m willing her to have a heart attack before she turns forty, just saying it looks like it’s in the cards any way without any willing of my own.

Seeing as how I only sleep about an hour or two a night anyway, the time passed slow as I sat in the lotus position on my concrete bench with my tweed slacks and naked feet. I wondered how much staph infection was on the floor and sighed as I continued to breathe in order to create more white blood cells to fight off whatever germs were probably trying to wiggle their way into my bloodstream. After bull frog lady finally clocked out and had clearly became uncomfortable with me staring at her all night visualizing car accidents and axe murderers coming to her home to do her some justice (though I’m pretty sure she’s a sad and lonely individual whose social nights involve little more than re runs of “Dawson’s Creek” while she cries herself to sleep in a bucket of Haagen Daz filled with tears and tears and tears anyway, and that’s justice enough for me) I was let out of my cell and given a nice pair of silly orange sandals. Now I don’t know if any of you have been to jail but when they give you the orange sandals that were previously worn by God knows who in God knows what, you know that human compassion has no place in jail. Now I by no means pride myself on fashion but when I was arrested I was wearing a pair of my favorite black, tweed slacks and the loosest of grey silk shirts. My writing apparel you could say. So when I’m handed bright, sherbet orange sandals even I have to push my forehead until I feel my pineal gland secrete its DMT goodness. This is just humiliating. But it’s either wear the sandals or walk around on city tiles and judging by the proficiency in duty up until this point I put the stupid sandals on.
They offer me a tray of what they say is food and I only take advantage of what I can identify as corn flakes. As I pass by the lower levels I see some of the other fish caught by the local police that night down in the bowels of the jail. There were several young ladies, barely out of their teens that had been arrested for underage drinking and I couldn’t help but see the fear in their eyes. They were probably at a party doing what teenagers do and due to a string of events they were arrested, brought here, and now they too would be put in a system that would haunt them for most of their adult years. Surely probation; surely a record that would follow them from one failed job interview to the next. I shook my head in frustration. Was it really necessary to haul young women to the local prison lite for simply being teenagers? Was it really necessary to ruin lives with paperwork when they simply could have been taken home to parents that could do a much better job than some stuffy judge wearing a dress? Well as I would later find out, when the city and county has a vested financial interest in bringing people to a system rather than bringing them to justice this type of common sense doesn’t figure into City Hall’s books.

When the other men were brought out from their cells I had the chance to bump fists with many a minority including Spanish and young Black men all brought in for victimless crimes. I introduced myself to each and every one of them and did my best to hear each and every one of their stories. Then as if the Universe was speaking to me, my homeless friend Billy shuffled in down the steps. Now I call him “Billy the Kid” and the two of us have some history. You see he hit hard times when his woman bashed him over the head and accused him of having an affair and being abusive and since that time he’s been in a type of limbo trying to drink himself to death wondering why he’s the black sheep of the family. I have been taking him clothes and vitamins, doing the best I can to help a fellow Cherokee out while having late night pow wows with him down by the local Waffle House. He told me they snagged him for violation of probation even though they know he doesn’t have a job in order to pay them to begin with. I didn’t quite see the sense in the city beating someone like him down and extorting money from someone without allowing him to get back on his feet but I just put that in the back of my mind as we were all called to see the judge.

That scene was as usual. The judge doesn’t really listen or judge much of anything, he just sits there and reads off whatever the arresting officer put down then slaps you with a bond to which you are expected to pay before any conviction for the simple privilege of walking out of his cage. There isn’t much you can do at this point but listen and when I was called forward I obviously did more than just listen and accept what he said. Me being me I was sure to engage the judge in Constitutional questions to let him know I was aware of my Rights and no thank you I don’t need your stinking public defender because I’m competent to do this myself mister man wearing a dress and a nice little fraternity ring. Now I’m not sure why judges and lawyers have a problem looking someone that knows their Rights in the eyes but whatever. I was slapped with a $1400.00 bond in order to walk out that day. Now this shocked me to no end. I had called the po-po to remove a violent ex-felon that is abusive and clearly not right in the head and now this judge was asking me to bond out for $1400.00 that I did not have. So I asked the cute little African American guard that replaced bull frog lady to help me out and she advised me to call someone I know.

Well since the local police confiscated my memory bank (smart phone), the only number I knew by heart was my wife’s. As you all know I am going through a divorce so this was a gamble in and of itself. But what the hell, she’s a compassionate and understanding woman that knows I’m a freedom fighter and couldn’t be guilty of what I was charged with, so I dial those digits. I eagerly await to hear her voice and listen to say she will be down at the Detention Center soon enough to yank me from this situation I had no control over. And I did hear her voice…on the voicemail box she sent me straight to. Not the best feeling in the world to say the least. Shortly after this call was made I received a call from my sister, the fundamentalist Christian sworn to aid those in need. As I put the receiver to my ear and spoke my pleas of help those pleas were returned with religious dogmatism on why my own practices aren’t consistent with hers and how she couldn’t help me because of whatever, whatever, whatever. The cute little African American guard listening rolled her eyes and said “She aint gone help you honey, she just bein’ nosey.” To which I mouthed “I friggin’ know!”
So after I hung up the phone from my religiously bigoted sister I figured the best thing to do was just accept I was going to be in jail for the next few days on trumped up charges. Since I try to take life as it comes and roll with the punches I made peace with the fact that some good would come from all of this and simply ceased all efforts to get out of the system choosing rather to learn about it on the inside. After all, I am a writer and what good is a writer without experience to back up his words? Abandoned and belittled I slouched down in the chair with the other caught fish that weekend and smirked at how I constantly find myself in the most precarious of situations. Fortunately for you and me, I learned a thing or two while in jail.
