Political Requirements: Expert liar and profane sarcasm


In the age of modern technology, one has come to understand that anything we say or do, can
be easily verified and documented, by the simple click of the mouse. Our Republican form of government has been “of the people, by the people, and for the people” since it’s inception. Despite the hope of our Founding Fathers, it didn’t take long after the formation of our Nation, that political parties started to form.

George Washington, in his Farewell Address, warned the nation that the spirit of a political party serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. From our country’s inception, we formed compromises between the Federalist and Anti-Federalists. It was then, that started the divide of the people into political parties.

Fast forward to modern-day America. Our Nation is in a state of divide between the radical right and liberal left, with the more sensible middle, being the so-called “Liberty Movement.” These folks have been mocked and ridiculed in the most sardonic manner. During the 2012 Presidential elections, one would have thought that the Republicans would welcome, with open arms, the amount of young people that were clambering to the party; It was quite the opposite actually. Nevertheless, most people within the “Liberty Movement” have been turned off to political parties, in search of a place that will accept them, with open arms. Some went the direction of Anarchists, some went the route of Anarcho-Capitalism, but there are a lot of us that decided to stay. We stayed because we saw hope. The hope that we can redirect the Republican Party back to its core principles of Freedom, Prosperity, Vision, Strength, and Future. That seems to be something they like to boast about on the National GOP website.

Whether it’s on the National, State or Local level, people have come to expect political parties to be fair and consistent. I started getting involved in politics after my enlistment was over and I moved back to my hometown. To my astonishment, I came home to find my county to be completely swamped in debt, to the tune of $96 million dollars. This prompted me to look deeper into the reasoning behind this debt. In my quest to find the source, I began to see a trend. Every single person on the local Board of Commissioners has always ran on the Republican ticket. I found this completely ironic, in that, anytime you hear the name “Republican,” you also hear the word “Conservative” that is quick to follow. How can one claim to be a “conservative” whilst taking out loans, in the name of the citizens that they claim to represent?

The Republican, Democrat, and Libertarian Parties are indeed semi-private organizations. This brings me to my next point.

In a meeting that was held by the Republican Women of Forsyth County (RWFC), Citizen Journalst, Nydia Tisdale (www.aboutforsyth.com) was triple-teamed in a show of intimidation by Peggy Green, Carla Radzikinas, and Carolyn Hall Fisher on April 16, 2014. In the video you can clearly see what appears to be three women conspiring to have Tisdale kicked out of the venue. A few moments later, Tisdale was approached by the trio, and demanded that she leave the restaurant. Keep in mind, the RWFC has published this event as “Open to the Public” on their website as well as on Forsyth County News. According to Tisdale, “Contrary to statements by Peggy Green — Norman’s Landing owner Bill Norman, did NOT ask me to leave. He said that they don’t want you to record. Guest speaker candidate Susan Zereini said that she wanted me to record. Mr. Norman told us to work it out — he was busy running his restaurant and did not want to get in the middle of it.”

Then, the TRUE motive of the trio is made known, acting as the spokeswoman for the group, Green states:

“Will you turn off the camera please, you’re not wanted here.”

further stating,

“We do not like your tactics; we do not like your strong, attack, tactics (sic) so please leave; or we will go get Norman and he will personally escort you out”

Now comes Fisher (VP of the FCRW and 2nd Vice Chair of the FCRP) : “This is just a women’s group” interrupted by Radzikinas who says “This is not an official group, its a women’s gathering”

Again, Tisdale reiterates that it was on their official website as “OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

And wouldn’t you know it, Green didn’t like what Tisdale had to say and say’s… Ready for this?  “So sue us, you can’t stay…


In a bitter fit of rage, Green then goes on to assault Tisdale, by hitting her on her arm and grabbing at her camera, as if to try and snatch it off of the tri-pod.


Is this what being part of the Republican Party or its affiliates is all about?

Evidently so and here’s why I say that…

Please consider this a formal request to refrain from videoing or recording any meetings of the Forsyth County Republican Party.

In keeping with the spirit of the Republican Women of Forsyth County, Wilkins decided to sucker punch Tisdale, as well. Adding insult to injury, he states “Going forward, I will consider your video and writing efforts to be political activism and not journalism. As such, I will not grant you the same access to Forsyth County Republican Party Meetings that I offer to journalists.”

In a show of bigotry, Wilkins states he will consider her video and writing efforts as “political activism and not journalism.” It’s a shame that someone who considers himself to be a “Conservative” and has taken the leadership role of the Republican Party of Forsyth County, thinks that HIS decision completely nullifies the 1st Amendment as well as the many Supreme Court rulings that protect this inalienable right. As far as I’m concerned, activism comes in MANY different shapes and forms, to include being the Chairman of the local Boys and Girls Club, also known as the Republican Party. So, does this mean that Bradley is going to ban himself and his cohorts from attending their own meetings? Or does it mean that The Forsyth County Republican Party is only going to allow you to receive the information that THEY want you to hear?

You know, the same kind of controlled media that took place in Nazi Germany or the “Speak No Evil” Communist China. Lets be honest here, if you’re going to censor one but allow others, is that not exactly what you’re replicating, Bradley?

The moral of the story is this: All too often we hear the folks of both parties stating how they want to attract “young folks” to be on their team. On the surface, that sounds amazing but as you start digging into this “social club” they don’t want you to be a part of this club at all! Its merely a sad attempt at trying to appear as though they all want to fight for the rights and freedoms. If you have a differing opinion, you’re shut out. If you don’t follow the orders of the elders, you don’t belong and if you actually hold the values of the Republican Party, to a higher moral standard, well, that’s just totally unacceptable. Don’t you ever try to hold the very people that get to choose your delegates, alternate delegates, nominee’s to elected office to a higher moral standard. You will be locked out and labeled as an activist. Apparently, being an activist is now being held to the same equivalency as a “domestic terrorist.” After all, it IS the Republican Party that condoned the dismantling of your basic, Constitutional Rights, à la “The Patriot Act, Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).






Apparently, Tisdale has pressed charges in this case of Green committing simple battery against her at the event posted above.
Below is the audio from an investigator from the Forsyth County Sheriffs Office. Note the third video (Sorry, it wont link directly to the page like the others no matter how hard I try) of the owner, Mr. Norman. His story is quiet different than the story of Green when she decided to start acting like a spoiled little child who was just told “NO, you CANNOT have any candy” by her mother. Peggy, you aren’t helping the perception of the Republican Party these days. Might I recommend you leave this side of you at home, tucked away from the prying eyes of the general public from now on?



N.D.A.A. headed to the Senate. Who voted for it?



ATLANTA, GA. – Government Bill H.R. 4435 (N.D.A.A) for Fiscal Year 2015 has overwhelmingly passed the House (325 – 98) and is headed for the Senate. In a weird turn of events, every member of Congress for the State of Georgia, with the exception of Congressman John Lewis (D), voted in favor of this bill.

H.R. 4435 is riddled big government spending to the tune of $602 billion and a continuation of the war effort in Afghanistan until FY2018.

In what seemed like a “no-brainer” (based on what we know from congressional members seeking higher office, each of them vehemently opposing this legislation), every congressman in the State of Georgia voted for this bill – with the exception of Congressman John Lewis.

In an interview with Congressman Paul Broun before the Savannah debate, he stated that the indefinite detention provisions were not in the 2014 N.D.A.A. and he was correct.

So, why am I attacking Broun? It’s simple: He made himself out to be a staunch opponent of just about anything N.D.A.A. I am here to prove that his assertions of opposition and my assertion of opposition are two very different things.

The previsions are in the Authorization for use of Military Force (AUMF), which was created under George W. Bush. However, in 2012, Broun voted for H.R. 4310 N.D.A.A. 2012, which contained sections 1021 and 1022 in which Congress vested the power in themselves to authorize the indefinite detention of an American Citizen without due process of the law. Now that the bill has been changed, congress relinquished this power back to the president – and the N.D.A.A. only “upholds current law”, that being the AUMF.

So, the next time you hear anyone say that the N.D.A.A. doesn’t allow for the indefinite detention of American Citizens, you can call them out on their nonsense. You are now armed with the verifiable truth that the provisions remain, only in the hands of the President and the FISA courts.

In Section 1075, the FAA Modernization and Reform Act is again brought up, with continued authorization to allow the testing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) or as we like to call them, drones. Thanks to the 2012 N.D.A.A., congress mandated that 35,000 drones be integrated into our national airspace, by 2015.

In the North Georgia Mountains, Gilmer County residents fought back against the Federal Government and the private sector from taking control of the counties airport, preventing it from being used as a drone testing facility. Thanks to the late, Commissioner Randy Bell, the opposition to this program was successful in denying the State of Georgia, Georgia Tech Research Institute and Federal Government from obtaining the authorization by the Board of Commissioners to use their facility for such programs. However, the bill remains and they have moved on to other areas of the nation where they don’t need permission to use the lands in which they conduct the data-link testing.

One very important issue pertaining to this bill is found in Section 1216:

United States plan for sustaining the Afghanistan National Security Forces through the end of fiscal year 2018

Yes, you read that right. We are continuing the war effort in Afghanistan until FY2018. Contingency operations will continue for a very long time. American lives will continue to be lost and innocent men, women and children will continue to die via drone warfare.

Commissioner Randy Bell (RIP Good fellow) meeting with Steve Justice over drones in Gilmer County.


Over the last few weeks, you have heard the term “Domestic Terrorist” in the media by Senator Harry Reid, when speaking about the supporters of Mr. Cliven Bundy.

One would ask thy self, what exactly is a domestic terrorist and why did Mr. Reid coin the term when speaking about these individuals?

Let me give you a history lesson about this very subject. Keep in mind, I am ONLY speaking about the N.D.A.A. of 2012. (I will get into the N.D.A.A. of 2014, which is a total BEAST within itself, in another article.)

On December 14th, 2011, the National Defense Authorization Act was passed by the U.S. House of Representative. The bill was subsequently sent to the U.S. Senate where it was voted on and passed The bill landed on the President’s desk and was signed (quietly on New Years Eve) into law on December 31, 2011.

There are MANY issues that I could cover on this topic, however, we are going to stay on the one issue that has been presented at present.

Deep within the N.D.A.A. is Section 1021 and 1022, is where we run into the “Counter-terrorism” sections of the bill. [Title X, Subtitle D] Within this, is  the authorization for the indefinite military detention of persons the government suspects of involvement in terrorism, including U.S. citizens arrested on American soil.

The AUMF (Authorization for Use of Military Force) already authorizes the President to indefinitely detain an individual, so why would we need this added into the N.D.A.A? Because of one very small word with a very big definition. The N.D.A.A. now states that CONGRESS  affirms this authority and makes specific provisions as to the exercise of that authority.

Your definition of Affirm is different than Black’s Law Dictionary of the word.

 Black’s Law Dictionary:

Affirm:  To ratify, make firm, confirm, establish, reassert. To ratify or confirm a former law or judgment. Cowell. In the practice of appellate courts, to affirm a judgment, decree, or order, is to declare that it is valid and right, and must stand as rendered below; to ratify and reassert it; to I concur in its correctness and confirm its efficacy. In pleading. To allege or aver a matter of fact; to state it affirmatively; the opposite of deny or traverse. . In practice. To make an affirmation; to  make a solemn and formal declaration or asseveration that an affidavit is true, that the witness will tell the truth, etc.. this being substituted for an oath in certain cases. Also, to give testimony on affirmation. In the law of contracts. A party is said to affirm a contract the same being voidable at his election, when he ratifies and accepts it, waives his right to annul it, and proceeds under it as if it had been valid ^ originally.

So, what just happened there? Well, congress vested the power in themselves to bypass the 4th Amendment of the United States Constitution and took the President out of the equation.

Note that in section (f) REQUIREMENT FOR BRIEFINGS OF CONGRESS.—The Secretary of Defense shall regularly brief Congress regarding the application of the authority described in this section, including the organizations, entities, and individuals considered to be ‘‘covered persons’’ for purposes of subsection (b)(2).

So, who defines what a domestic terrorist is? The Department of Homeland Security. The National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (S.T.A.R.T.) at the University of Maryland (Which was partly funded by the DHS)

In their review, on pages 9 and 10, the definition of particular groups are mentioned below:

Extreme Right-Wing: groups that believe that one’s personal and/or national “way of life” is under attack and is either already lost or that the threat is imminent (for some the threat is from a specific ethnic, racial, or religious group), and believe in the need to be prepared for an attack either by participating in paramilitary preparations and training or survivalism. Groups may also be fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation), anti-global, suspicious of centralized federal authority, reverent of individual liberty, and believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty.

Extreme Left-Wing: groups that want to bring about change through violent revolution rather than through established political processes. This category also includes secular left-wing groups that rely heavily on terrorism to overthrow the capitalist system and either establish “a dictatorship of the proletariat” (Marxist-Leninists) or, much more rarely, a decentralized, non-hierarchical political system (anarchists).

Religious: groups that seek to smite the purported enemies of God and other evildoers, impose strict religious tenets or laws on society (fundamentalists), forcibly insert religion into the political sphere (e.g., those who seek to politicize religion, such as Christian Reconstructionists and Islamists), and/or bring about Armageddon (apocalyptic millenarian cults; 2010: 17). For example, Jewish Direct Action, Mormon extremist, Jamaat-al-Fuqra, and Covenant, Sword and the Arm of the Lord (CSA) are included in this category. 

Ethno-Nationalist/Separatist: regionally concentrated groups with a history of organized political autonomy with their own state, traditional ruler, or regional government, who are committed to gaining or regaining political independence through any means and who have supported political movements for autonomy at some time since 1945. 

Single Issue: groups or individuals that obsessively focus on very specific or narrowly-defined causes (e.g., anti-abortion, anti-Catholic, anti-nuclear, anti-Castro). This category includes groups from all sides of the political spectrum.

So, as we move forward in the election process you will continually hear politician’s, specifically Paul Broun, try and defend their position on voting for the N.D.A.A. in 2012. Congress Paul Broun brings up that he voted for the Amash/Smith Amendment and then the Amash/Gibson Amendment that would have repealed sections 1021 and 1022. Don’t be fooled by this nonsense. If you KNOWINGLY vote for a bill, this radical, why on God’s Green Earth would you vote for this bill to begin with?!

This is known in Washington as “Double Speak.”

I have to give it to Congressmen Phil Gingrey and Jack Kingston though, they are both owning their votes like a champ!

Our Constitutional Rights are NOT up for debate nor compromise. If you give up one, you give up all.



20140301_125336Typically I’m that guy that is always fashionably late. I suppose I use the words fashionably late to mask the fact that I actually have obsessive compulsive disorder, and I am usually scrambling at the last minute to make sure I have everything with me that I will need. This sometimes causes major setbacks, however you have to admit, it is pretty impressive when I show up later than all of you and make a calm, cool pause underneath the doorway with a James Dean smile and a cryptic hand gesture. Come on, you know that’s cool. I practice that crap in a mirror, so throw me some love.
As I said, typically that is my modus operands. However on this particular day, I was not going to take any risks. I had been up for seventy two hours hovering over monitors and keyboards to make sure the latest episode of ZEN IN THE CAR T.V. came to your beautiful eyes and the thrill of it along with the event of the weekend had me wired beyond belief. There was no way I was going to attempt even getting sleep for this one. After the episode was in the can I threw my joo-joo bag over my shoulder and went on my morning walk to the Deku Tree, or as I lovingly call it, “Zen Garden 2.0” and took a few hours to meditate while the sun came up above the trees. Once I had made my peace it was Pandora on the smart thingy and me making tracks around the neighborhood.

As scheduled, Jason Patrick called me around eight thirty or so to make sure I was upright and mobile. Thankfully for him I had already prepared the night before. So when he arrived with Monster in hand (sorry Berenice, I know I told you I would cut back on caffeine but I really needed it that day) I was up and ready to go. Once we piled into his truck it was off to pick our very own Curtis Sirmans up at his pad with more equipment. Like an angel floating from the heavens, Sirmans had our microphones in hand ready to roll, save a few technical errors which we will resolve. From his pad on, it was to Macon, where we would meet the Grayson caravan. As the three of us did inventory and waited for the caravan to roll in we discussed plans for the future and our goals within this movement. After about an hour we could hear the deep puttering of Harley engines thundering down the highway. That’s when the Sons of Liberty rolled in with a one Jason Turner leading the charge.

Now as all of you know, I am prone to make sidetracks in my prose and I really don’t want to do it here but I think it is noteworthy for me to say this. As many of you know, I am a very spiritual person. I believe that some people come into your life for little things like implanting an idea you have never thought of before; and then again, there are some who show up to change it forever. You know these people when you meet them and there is no doubt about it. It could be a parent, a love interest, a business partner, or someone you instantly recognize as a friend. Before continuing any further I can tell you; the moment our two mighty hands took hold of the other it was apparent this man was my brother in not only this life, but many prior and many yet to come. Sometimes Freedom and Liberty rhyme with the heartbeat of a pulse. More on that later.
After the crew assembled, Patrick, Sirmans and myself piled into Turner’s ride and ripped down highway 16 to little Louisiana. Otherwise known as Savannah. On the way, as expected; there were many philosophical conversations had within the confines of the car. It was a meeting of the minds so to speak, an iron sharpeneth iron moment. When the convoy reached the coast we all pulled to the nearest gas station to rest our legs and grab a bite. Unfortunately it was in some po-dunk town filled with the lowest of DNA from the evolutionary chain. Our good friend Jason Patrick stepped outside and as he walked towards our companions, Robert Sowell, and Bruno Rivera, he handed a couple of rednecks a Derrick Grayson flyer. The immediate response was that they wouldn’t vote for “niggers”. Yes, this type of thing still exists in the deep woods of Georgia. Ironically enough, this issue would pop up in the debates later, but all in its good time.

The crew refreshed themselves and communicated with the campaign in Savannah to set up the timing of our arrival and when everything was set it was back on the highway; back to my place of Zen. For the rest of the trip I sort of basked in the conversations my brothers in Freedom were having in the car, every now and then interjecting with my own insights. However for the most part; I know to shut my mouth when titans are sparring intellectually.
Once we arrived in downtown Savannah, and saw the absurdity of the signs from all the polished politicians, the crew was more than pumped to support Derrick Grayson. All of us were appalled at the commercialism of the other candidates. We knew Mister Grayson personally. We understood this was not career advancement or a notch in a belt. The man was running because he genuinely believed and if that was not the case not a one of us would be there. It was a sickening sight to see what the proceeds from mega corporations like Monsanto can buy when you have honest statesmen like Derrick Grayson that are running to truly represent us on a wing and a prayer. We read about David and Goliath in Sunday school; but how many of us are willing to reenact it?
Outside of the school the debates were to be hosted at, more Grayson supporters showed up with camera equipment and tools to help us spread the word. We rolled in like gangbusters and set up. Patrick and myself helped with the Grayson table as Sirmans waltzed in with his Go Pro strapped to his head. Of course on the way in Patrick was sure to catch Broun stumbling over himself with the vote on NDAA, and having every intention of catching Purdue on the way out. It was apparent from the beginning that team Zen was not there to make nice. But come on, you don’t pay us for nice do you?

After meeting with patriots such as Barbie Dunn and Ellisa Oliver, head volunteers for the Grayson campaign, the two of us found a seat to enjoy the debates. This is when the fun really began. As Patrick and I listened to the answers and questions; Jason Turner and quirky embedded reporter Sarah Westwood scrambled to see if footage was being taken. Now unfortunately the school had somehow…mysteriously blocked the live feed. And very little footage was taken from what could otherwise be described as a dynamic debate in which Grayson swept the floor.

The Wake Up Call

While it appears to be the end to a relatively boring story, it turns out that it was just the beginning to something prophetic. See, outside of knowing I did not elect Obama for President (because his lies didn’t fool me for one second), attention to anything political or even remotely related to politics was nothing of interest. I imagine I am not unlike many others who simply took the beaten with the assumption that we would suffer through it. However, my husband was one of the fortunate ones to be more than aware of what was going on not only in our country, but in the world. He was chastised for it – by yours truly – as I saw much of what he was listening to as unchangeable and negatively laced.

On a morning not unlike many others before it, fed up with the job hunt and the negativity the situation was inspiring; I found myself nagging the husband again about his listening to the crappy news on talk radio. That’s when a challenge was issued. A challenge I believe many of us were presented with at some point in our lives, or why else would we be here?

You don’t have a clue what’s going on in this country, do you?

Well, that’s uncalled for. I never knew before, why should I give a damn now, right? Well, I don’t know what my exact response was, but I’m certain it was defensive. After all, who likes being called out for their lack of knowledge?

Essentially, the challenge being issued was simple: wake up. There was a call to see why I wouldn’t be getting the job I wanted any time soon; a demand to see and understand the liberties that were being stolen from us by our elected officials in government.

Being among the fortunate, this was all it took to disconnect my cord from the system and find a place amongst those who would bring me to further Truth and Enlightenment. Some were found by me, but the some that would become the most significant contributors to my awakening found me. It was then that so many wonderful and inexplicable happenings began to take place. Like so many others, I began to see things differently, and my only desire became to share my new-found knowledge with others.

Unfortunately, just as I was initially defensive towards my husband, so were others towards me and the information I was giving them. Friends, family… people I thought I knew, not only denied these Truths, but became ugly beasts I didn’t recognize anymore. I’m just trying to help you, I thought, why are you not even capable of acknowledging what I’m telling you without debating me?

By this time, so many had already been lost – friends and even family – to my need to share truth. The only way to salvage what was left, as far as I could tell, was to keep my information to myself and at the very least communicate with those who were already awakened.

Months later, I’m sitting here writing this to you after much reflection and understanding. I was wrong again. See, just as I was defensive to the ideas being put before me, so others will be as well. Cognitive dissonance, the desire for people to maintain living in their delusions; prevented people from giving up the illusion they were plugged into. To challenge them as we have been challenged is asking them to step into the turmoil so many of us has already experienced. The daunting task of waking up others is a daunting one that sees friends turn foe and family turn their backs or worse – throw you to the feds.

It’s unfortunate to say that we cannot save them all. There will be many that wish to remain plugged in, and will even fight tooth and nail to keep from being separated from the fictional world they live in. While it seems like going through all of this to inform others is harmful, it is actually just the opposite. Information is positivity; the opportunity to make a choice. It is the lack of information which is most dangerous and negatively charged. What we, as the awakened whole, need to understand is that many will cling to the lies. Do not be discouraged. It is not your role to unplug anyone. Your only charge is to keep the information coming out freely; to put it out there for others to question and reflect upon it, in their own time and in their own way, so that they may make an informed choice.

Ultimately, choice is left to the Individual. All you can do is put the truth before them and move on, as the more people who become awakened, the stronger we grow as a nation towards absolute liberty. Let hope be your guide. Let faith maintain your heart. Let love be your strength. Others will see that your truth is not inspiring hate or negativity. It’s time to unplug this country and the world. So if you’re not already… wake up.






With the recent killing of James Boyd, the camper from New Mexico, an uproar has begun in this country. With the senseless murder of a man doing little more than setting up a place in which to sleep in the middle of the desert, the true nature of our law enforcement agencies has become clear. They are not here to protect and serve, rather they are here to enforce statutes and acts with the barrel of a gun. As more and more video is being uploaded of police brutality on a daily basis, we as Americans have to ask ourselves when enough is enough.
In the following episode of ZEN IN THE CAR T.V., Daniel Louis Crumpton paints a picture of the horror we as Liberty activists are facing when dealing with the police. In it he shares some disturbing footage of cruel acts performed by the police on average citizens and explains our right to defend ourselves against them when they step outside the confines of the Constitution. The following are some of the references for the “Stand your Ground” law he mentions near the conclusion:
“Citizens may resist unlawful arrest to the point of taking an arresting officer’s life if necessary.” Plummer v. State, 136 Ind. 306. This premise was upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States in the case: John Bad Elk v. U.S., 177 U.S. 529. The Court stated: “Where the officer is killed in the course of the disorder which naturally accompanies an attempted arrest that is resisted, the law looks with very different eyes upon the transaction, when the officer had the right to make the arrest, from what it does if the officer had no right. What may be murder in the first case might be nothing more than manslaughter in the other, or the facts might show that no offense had been committed.”

“An arrest made with a defective warrant, or one issued without affidavit, or one that fails to allege a crime is within jurisdiction, and one who is being arrested, may resist arrest and break away. lf the arresting officer is killed by one who is so resisting, the killing will be no more than an involuntary manslaughter.” Housh v. People, 75 111. 491; reaffirmed and quoted in State v. Leach, 7 Conn. 452; State v. Gleason, 32 Kan. 245; Ballard v. State, 43 Ohio 349; State v Rousseau, 241 P. 2d 447; State v. Spaulding, 34 Minn. 3621.

“When a person, being without fault, is in a place where he has a right to be, is violently assaulted, he may, without retreating, repel by force, and if, in the reasonable exercise of his right of self defense, his assailant is killed, he is justified.” Runyan v. State, 57 Ind. 80; Miller v. State, 74 Ind. 1.

“These principles apply as well to an officer attempting to make an arrest, who abuses his authority and transcends the bounds thereof by the use of unnecessary force and violence, as they do to a private individual who unlawfully uses such force and violence.” Jones v. State, 26 Tex. App. I; Beaverts v. State, 4 Tex. App. 1 75; Skidmore v. State, 43 Tex. 93, 903.

“An illegal arrest is an assault and battery. The person so attempted to be restrained of his liberty has the same right to use force in defending himself as he would in repelling any other assault and battery.” (State v. Robinson, 145 ME. 77, 72 ATL. 260).

“Each person has the right to resist an unlawful arrest. In such a case, the person attempting the arrest stands in the position of a wrongdoer and may be resisted by the use of force, as in self- defense.” (State v. Mobley, 240 N.C. 476, 83 S.E. 2d 100).

“One may come to the aid of another being unlawfully arrested, just as he may where one is being assaulted, molested, raped or kidnapped. Thus it is not an offense to liberate one from the unlawful custody of an officer, even though he may have submitted to such custody, without resistance.” (Adams v. State, 121 Ga. 16, 48 S.E. 910).

“Story affirmed the right of self-defense by persons held illegally. In his own writings, he had admitted that ‘a situation could arise in which the checks-and-balances principle ceased to work and the various branches of government concurred in a gross usurpation.’ There would be no usual remedy by changing the law or passing an amendment to the Constitution, should the oppressed party be a minority. Story concluded, ‘If there be any remedy at all … it is a remedy never provided for by human institutions.’ That was the ‘ultimate right of all human beings in extreme cases to resist oppression, and to apply force against ruinous injustice.’” (From Mutiny on the Amistad by Howard Jones, Oxford University Press, 1987, an account of the reading of the decision in the case by Justice Joseph Story of the Supreme Court.

As for grounds for arrest: “The carrying of arms in a quiet, peaceable, and orderly manner, concealed on or about the person, is not a breach of the peace. Nor does such an act of itself, lead to a breach of the peace.” (Wharton’s Criminal and Civil Procedure, 12th Ed., Vol.2: Judy v. Lashley, 5 W. Va. 628, 41 S.E. 197).

Hey all you Zenners. How’s it going? Going good? That’s good. Going good for me too, glad you asked. So anyways we just wanted to drop you this little line and let you know that we have a new kinda-sortof thingy here at ZENINTHECAR.COM. A lot of our fans and creepy followers have inquired what its like to be what we are and do what we do. They want to see the curtain of the wizard pulled back. They want to know what it is like to be in Team Zen when Team Zen isn’t on film or giving a speech.
As most of you know, Team Zen is a very close knit family. We are unique and diverse individuals that have somehow managed to come together under a common flag without ripping each other’s throats out. The common flag we all fly is that of Freedom and Liberty, and that flag affords us unity. However, from time to time we think it is appropriate to sit on the bridge of the Zenterprise and simply philosophize. These are the moments where the magic really happens. So we thought you guys might like to sneak in on those moments where the crew of ZEN IN THE CAR T.V. have their shields down and are doing what they do best. Enjoy some Midnight Zen. Midnight Zen is simply a freeze frame of how we operate at the middle of the night, or as you would…a step across the looking glass.

I can remember during the last couple of presidential election cycles feeling very much like an island at times in my support of Ron Paul. Now keep in mind, no one that supported Ron Paul really supported the man, rather what the man stood for; Freedom, Liberty and the Constitution. In a world where people focus on the technicalities of what a document says rather than the soul of what is written, it was rare to find others that had such concepts burning in their bones. It was rare to find someone who didn’t approach the Constitution like a legal document rather like a Holy document. While others were supporting politicians, we were supporting a statesman. We were supporting a man who was open, honest, and not offering to butter our bread more than he was offering us the opportunity to butter our own damn bread.

During that time there were few media voices willing to shout from the rooftops and echo this message of Freedom and Liberty, so we as supporters had to become the media. Derrick Grayson (TMOT) was one of the loudest and clearest advocates for the concepts we all embrace here at ZENINTHECAR.COM. I can’t tell you how many days I raced home to catch his “Drive Time” rants on YouTube and sat on the edge of my seat with the feeling that finally I was not alone. Finally there was someone else that understood this type of thing without having to walk them around the pond. He doesn’t mince words, he doesn’t dodge questions, and he doesn’t water down the words of our Founding Fathers. When we released the project statement I AM THE COG, a comprehensive plan to take back our Republic, Derrick Grayson was one of the first to throw his support behind it, and since that time we knew he was as Stan Lee would say, a True Believer. So it tickled us to no avail to find out that he was running for the House of Representatives for our fine state. Team Zen scrambled to find out how we could contribute to his voice getting louder and his campaign becoming a success. And after all that scrambling we decided just to do what we do best. Cover him as we would any other politician and let his own words either uplift or condemn him.

We find it ironic that Derrick Grayson is known for “Drive Time” where most of his ideas probably come to him while stuck in a car, and we here attained Enlightenment in ours while stuck in traffic. It appears a hybrid baby of ZEN and DRIVE TIME was inevitable with all that hindsight being 20\20 and all. So we hope you enjoy a little Drive Time Zen.

A few months ago, before the presidential farce of an election, I had the chance to sit down with some of the best Patriots in the state of Georgia such as Valerie Sargent Martin, Jason Patrick, and Solomon Pinkins to discuss the problems our Republic faces in this generation. This after hours episode of the Valerie Sargent Martin show covers issues such as post traumatic stress disorder, problems in the birthing industry, Ron Paul and the ever expanding police state. ZENINTHECAR.Com has been a little lite on politics lately and I figured this little gem of a roundtable discussion should be dusted off and viewed again because it shows that the youth of this country are very much in tune with what is going on in our government; and most certainly what needs to be fixed. We hope you enjoy it and that it reinvigorates your desire for Freedom and Liberty to be passed to our children.

And to clear up any confusion; though in the interview I am called ‘Jeff’ and speak of myself in the third person it should be noted that at the time it was not entirely prudent for me to use my lawful name due to controversial issues I was bringing to light in the state of Georgia such as the national I.D. and FEMA installations. I’m sure that by now all of you are aware that quite a few states have taken the time to shoot the federal government nice little petitions requesting they be allowed to peacefully secede from the union. Did you catch that? I said they are requesting…to be allowed…to no longer be subject to the federal government. As much as I expected, while reading over a few of these petitions, to see them end with “Pretty please, with cherries on top”; alas I did not.

Can you imagine your cherub, cheeked, little four year old waddling into the living room one evening while you’re preoccupied with the television…wait for it…programming, and looking you square in the eye with a most serious demeanor, and pristine British accent, saying;
“Papa. Mama. I appreciate all that the two of you have done for me. I honestly do. You have been with me from the cradle up until now and for the most part it’s been tolerable. You have provided some food. You have provided some shelter. But now, I fear that you are becoming dictatorial and overbearing. When I was younger you tickled me. You sang to me. You rocked me to sleep, and you even took the trouble of cleaning my unspeakables when I soiled them so. Now though, that I have progresses beyond crawling on all fours, and have developed quite the vocabulary far, far ahead of …how do you say…goo goo, gah gah…you have started to change. You have begun telling me things like, no. You have begun raising your voice at me when I do things that three years ago were adorable. You have begun giving me rules of what I can touch or what I can’t put in my mouth. All these things were somewhat understandable to me; I could see how you might simply be attempting to protect me. But with this latest encroachment of my rights, this …this…this horrid thing you have cooked up called ‘bed time’ is just the final straw. I have been pushed to my line. This far. No Further. So dear Mama and Papa, will you kindly relinquish your parentage over me, that I might be free?”

After a very long silence, littered with back and forth blinks of astonishment from Mama to Papa, the time has come to introduce the encroachment, little cherub cheeks, has yet to be oppressed by; the ass whipping.

Do I think these petitions are going to go anywhere? Honestly, no. I expect them to be mostly ignored by the media, no matter how many signatures they get, and completely dismissed by the white house as silly. And that’s granting they acknowledge them at all. Sorry petition signers, but I just don’t think you are going to get the response you are looking for. I’m sure Obama appreciates you helping him compile an enemies list though; frees Janet Napolitano up to finally take that Pilates class she’s been neglecting. That being said, I certainly wouldn’t want it to be construed that I am looking down my nose at the Right of States to secede. Nor do I think that initiating these petitions is a waste of time. Quite the contrary.

For anyone who has actually been paying attention the world around them, specifically in the former land of the Free and Brave, the cold truth is now coming home that Freedom truly isn’t free. And you can’t purchase Freedom on the sands of lands you can’t pronounce. No, Freedom has always been in the guardianship of a nation’s people. Not it’s political system, or its elected servant’s well crafted legislation’s, designed to cloak the tyranny with pages and pages of words and words connecting to other words in other pages with sections and subsections, and addendum’s to said subsections. No, Republics are always established and hopefully maintained, by a collection of people that actually understand terms such as “Unalienable Rights” and “All men are created equal”. It is when such a people slumber that the Freedoms protected under Republics begin to slip away and my have we been asleep.

Over the past ten or so years alone, We the People have allowed the federal government to invade a limitless amount of other nations without declarations of war (because as long as you don’t call a war, war, you don’t have to declare. Thanks Georgy boy, we really appreciate that precedent). We have allowed paranoid politicians to craft the Patriot Act and the NDAA under the guise of protecting our Rights by violating our Rights, and we are now offering up our young to the TSA for patriotic cavity searches. The Department of Homeland Security has turned its rhetoric from Islamic extremism to domestic extremism, and now the profiling debate is moot because we are all suspects. The drones we have been using to stack up millions of dead, civilian bodies in Iraq and elsewhere are now hovering over our suburbs, and soon we will all be mandated to carry our papers at all times. Now that We the People are starting to perk up and pay attention to such things as election fraud, and off shore bankers having made off with all our gold a long, long time ago; it seems that the federal government just so happens to need a whole lot of hollow point bullets.

Now, I am a peaceful human being, and do not believe in any form of pre-emptive violence; and do not believe that there is, nor will ever be a dilemma which cannot be resolved peacefully. I believe that violence is the result of men, who in power at the time are lazy and unimaginative. However, when you mention secession, it automatically evokes in the uninformed, the emotion of fear. They, who actually have the vocabulary to understand the word, are brought to images of the civil war. They automatically think that even the mention of seceding will ultimately bring about such a civil war.
While looking through the comments of some fake face book friends, I came across this one (of course I’ll not give the name of the commenter as to not ostracize him as the village idiot).
A couple of years ago I went to the Andersonville National Cemetery with the Boy Scouts to place flags on the graves of fallen Civil War soldiers. It was littered with grave stones everywhere of soldiers who gave their lives to preserve the Union. It blows my mind that 150 years later we would bring up the option of seceding because we don’t agree with the selection of the president. I did not vote for him and do not agree with most of his policies, nevertheless, he was elected as president in a free election and this is a shameful option to consider. I remember thinking during the 2000 election how irreprehensible the Democrats were behaving by insisting on recount after recount when the vote in Miami-Dade County was conclusive. I remember thinking that was one of the differences between Democrats and Republicans. That we would never stoop to being cry-babies because we lost an election. Make no mistake; one of the things that make the USA great is the rule of law, that we all obey it. It gives us stability. Extremism… (and yes secession is one of the most extreme measures that can be taken)….leads to instability and revolutions

Now, though this person has much to be desired in the area of knowing anything about history, and what form of government our Founders handed to us, his concern is a legitimate one. His fear is a legitimate fear. If a State were to secede, how can it survive off the tit of the federal government? Isn’t the idea of a divisible union treasonous? Shouldn’t we obey the will of a mob in a mock election, and change our Republic to a socialist state, because that is the will of the democratically elected representatives of the empire?

The simple truth is that this guy is afraid. As well as many are, or should be. Now that these petitions are surging in signers, the very word, the very concept, is becoming an option in the minds of many. The word secede, is being googled. As that happens, more and more people will see that it is not synonymous with war. That there is a way it can be done peacefully, in fact, it is inevitability. The box of Pandora is open. The notion that the United States, are, and have always been separate, and equal States is now becoming commonplace and as the economy continues to plummet, more and more will begin to adopt this philosophy. As we watch the countries of old, topple overseas; we also see them giving rise to something new. Perhaps this is the very thing our country is going through. Perhaps our country isn’t static; perhaps it is susceptible to change.

Of course, the best response to the village idiot’s comment that I could see was:
When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the CONSENT of the governed,–That WHENEVER ANY FORM OF GOVERNMENT BECOMES DESTRUCTIVE of these ends, it is the RIGHT of the PEOPLE to ALTER or to ABOLISH it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a LONG TRAIN OF ABUSES AND USURPATIONS, pursing invariably the same Object evinces a design to REDUCE THEM UNDER ABSOLUTE DESPOTISM, it is their RIGHT, it is their DUTY, to THROW OFF such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” The Declaration of Independence — This country was founded by extreme secessionists.

Maybe these petitions won’t grab the response most hope they will. But one thing they will not do is fade away. The concept has escaped. It is in men’s minds. Once again people are beginning to question if the ruling elite actually have our best interests in mind. Now, last time, we had a man hell bent on doing all he could to keep the States united, so much so, that he was willing to spark a civil war. This time, while things are still pleasant, still proper, still polite; will our executive take a new route? Will he allow the peaceable part? Well an optimist can always point out that the waters we are in remain eternally; uncharted.
